Played a few hours on the pc last night. The penalty system is improved no more silly penalties.

DRS is realistic , leaving it open going round a corner you lose rear traction.

Car status osd also tells you when you pit what position you will come out.

The pit bug(holding you in too long) seems to be ironed out.

SC is in when doing more than a 20% race.

The spray from the start in a wet race is unreal you can't see anything!!!

 

May have to order this for the xbox.
What spec pc do you need if I by that version?

 

Core 2duo 2.6ghz 8gb ram 8800 gts graphics card.

Runs at 1080p with all graphics on medium.

 

Also instead of choosing fast, normal , slow it's been changed to fuel mixture .

Yet to see a safety car yet.

You can also pause to find out where each drive is placed and what tyres they are On also check if anyone has any penalties

Not played it since last update, monaco is next I've seen in the benchmark test they run the supersofts

 

Have been playing this today on ps3 and am quite impressed with what they've done, although I was expecting the red bull cars to be a little faster. They never even made the podium on my first career race at melbourne

 

Had a good few games last night

The rules and penaltys are still annoying, I kept getting penaltys for overtaking cars under a yellow flag but its unaviodable at times, seems to crash alot aswell

24 online players in a 3 lap race is just mayhem

 

I guess for 2011 you start all over again and it doesn't import any of the data from 2010 and you're back in a low end team?

 

Anyone having issues with quick race in multiplayer mode? Mine takes 5-10 minutes sometimes to proceed from the player list window to the race?

That was only my 2nd online session and first time around that track in 2011, so go easy on me!

 

Well I lasted 5 laps on Monaco last night, it's so difficult it's unreal. Safe to say it was my first experience of the safety car and I crashed then

 

I copied a setup from online, but since then I've seen it posted that theres a glitch with it

Try running 11/11 springs and it'll make a huge difference, maybe thats why I seem to be winning alot

Having not owned an F1 game since the PS2 days is F1 2011 worthy ?

I was put off by F1 Championship edition game after playing the demo and the reviews for F1 2010 certainly put me off not to mention the comments in here, is it time to re enter the fray with 2011 ?

I have bought so many racers over the years that have been utter crap kind of puts you off a bit.

 

Wow, must say I really haven't bothered fiddling with the cars setup on F1 2010, looks pretty in depth!

I like it, its a pretty good game. Theres a few bugs in this one aswell but hopefully they get fixed

Its hard to get a good race online though, in sprint mode everyone just knocks you off the track

But when you find people that are about the same skill level as you it makes for an awesome race

 

I did try the 11/11 spring setting at Turkey in Career mode. Won my first race!
I know what you mean regaridng online races. Madness!
Will send you an invite over the weekend, probably saturday evening.
