Is it possible to get the the second decat pipe in 3" > 2.5" to mate with this down pipe and onto my cat back?

it will be worth spraying all the studs with WD40 then to make them easier when it comes to taking them off

This will mate to a 2.5 inch centre section with no problems. The flanges will be the same still

 

Ed i think a few people are getting confused lol mainly me. My WRX 07 is 2.5" all the way through, are you saying that this DP is 3" but has the 2.5 flange thus fiitting OEM system. I can get this DP and it will fit with your 2 1/2 Inch (63mm) bore right through with ½ Inch thick flanges 2nd decat pipe?

This item will fit no problem to the OEM system so long as you use the flat gasket provided for the outlet and not the Donut gasket on the OEM part.
I have just been into the warehouse to confirm the details of this item and the diameter of this item appears to be 3 inch all the way through so perfect for flow. It also has 1/2 inch thick flanges.

I hope this now clears things up and resolves any confusion there may have been. sorry guys.
