nice one budgie, dont like the white wheels, they look too small on the car - the orginals much better

Nice one although I much prefer the OE wheels.
Have you sold the GB270 wagon then?

Yes, sadly the much loved wagon has moved on
It was one of the cheapest to run cars I have had in a long time
£430 a year for insurance
£1800 per year depreciation
29 mpg
Shame the tax band was £400
It will be nice once we have got the new one as clean as the wagon was

Like the car but not the drift wheels. Sort of reminds me of when the evo X came out and people were putting rota drift wheels on them to evo 8/9 spec. The wide wheel visually looses diameter and they look too small on such a bulky car. The 2nd pic of the wide wheels almost looks 'dub style, euro look

Maybe a set of rota boosts (still have a bit of curve) an inch bigger than original.

Absolutely love those seats though!

I did a sneaky driveby last week Pete- looks lovely in the flesh.

I'm agreeing with Monkey- no spoiler req'd. I'm sure the pending mods will be subtle and in keeping. New zorst will be good, looking forward to seeing the car at the show at the weekend. Does Jackie know you've got two cars and she now has none?...

looks good with the wheels but in another colour and with 2454018s maybe to chunk them out a bit , pop in pete and we can sling some different patterns on

these in white im thinking would look smashing

Saw it today in the metal & it looks awesome, far better than the pictures do it justice. Biggest surprise was how much better the interior is, the fit & finish & materials used as compared to the hawkeye. Also the car looks & feels so much more modern & dare I say it, "Classier" than Imprezas of old!

Us hatch guys have been enjoying the new interior since 2008, certainly better than those before it, it's the creature comforts like cruise, steering wheel radio controls, heated seats etc that just make it a nicer place to be. Still not up there with the Germans but certainly a step in the right direction for Subaru.

The hatch grew up on me really, no need to speak about saloon obviously. Not sure the feedback you get from them comparing to older models , but with the subtle mods they do look very nice.

Budgie

if you go for the high boot spoiler then hopefully your dealer will advise you that you need the actual bootlid aswell as the UK one isnt strong enuff to take the spoiler.

Darren @ Pro-R told me that a couple of dealers have sold the spoiler and let the customer fit it themselves to the existing bootlid with a result of either folding metal or the spoiler ripping off under speed!!!!.

With regards to your comment on the exhaust change, what are you going for - are you not fussed about it voiding the warranty?

Thanks Mark, I do know about the bootlid issue and as you say some people are slow to mention this.
ATM we could be leaving the car as is spoiler wise.
We are looking to fit 2 new back boxes with a better looking tail pipe but using the oem flange fittings.
Please feel free to post pics of back boxes if anyone has any

Seen the h&s but had theirs before and not a fan of the quality
Milteks look reasonable though
We have got an independant pricing a custom made atm
Whats your opinion on tailpipe design?
Single, twin, size, roll in, roll out, straigh or slash
