How many of you hit the rev limiter (by accident or not)?

My rev limiter kicks in at 7400 in my WRX and I always take it to about 7300 when racing and with the WRX long ratios I'm moving pretty fast when I have to finally change and watch the revs and boost drop

Seems alot of people are fairly conservative with how high they rev, which is probably a good thing
Mine goes all the way to 8250 (I think)
Out of interest, how much higher would I be able to go if the limiter wasn't there ? Staying reasonably safe obfcourse ?
Dont worry, you still take a standard sti from the lights no problem

8000rpm, the limiter is there to stop problems and its only raised just to help big power cars gain a little extra. Pushing past raised limits will only end in tears!
