In my Honda Diesel nothing can get close enough to my rear to sit on it .... I suppose that the Scooby is a lot slower these days than in was 10 years ago (in relation to other cars on the road I mean).

Unashamed attempt at getting a second bite on this thread after the first one failed miserably. Best of luck, you may get a troll feeder along shortly. Now move along quietly, nothing else to see

I get people trying to race me all the time and i am like bye bye, get on with it, i just wont stoop that low, but the police always seem to follow me, young driver in a scooby must be trouble, never mind the group of corsa boys hanging out in car parks doing donuts, sort it out. i have never really seen a chav driving a scooby, probs out of there price range i dont know, or all there convictions from speeding, they just cant get insured haha

Personally i dont own a scoob yet but i do have a S60 T5 which when i pull up to the local car cruise with me mate ( both big lads with skin heads) the " cruisers" think we are un-marked police and stop driving like bellends for a while.

The ammount of corsa's, saxos, clios and any other low powerd car that i see getting thrashed around the industrial estate racing on cruise night would suggest that surely the police would concerntrate on these cars than real performance cars? How many scoobs or evos have i seen wrapped up, NOT many. How many school boy racers MANY so begs the question really what are the police playing at?

I agree with you one hundred and ten percent mate, yeah all our local racers hang out in car parks here and there and just look for people to race, I have never really seen a high performance car driving stupid tbh, usually the business men on the way to work in the mornings, they cant wait to count the zeros of there bank balances.

The police to see whats really happening, we are enthusiasts we want to look after our cars, so we wont be stupid

Jolly good idea , did make me smile

Were i live we have a by-pass in beteen two sets of lights which is about 500 yards max. Driving home minding my own and this idiot in a Mundano just had to pass me even though it ment doing an illegal move.
Also had a a Clio full of chavs try it on, on another occasion, why when it will only end in them looking more silly than they are already

Aint bit yet as whats the point, best let the idiots be idiots

Its not just young boy racers who do this 'bumper hugging'.
Was on my way home from Huntingdon on Sunday afternoon, was just taking easy, 55mph tops on the A141. Came over the Chatteris roundabout heading towards March when I noticed in my mirror a new shape M3 being driven by a guy in his late thirties. He had his mrs next to him also so I'm guessing he wanted to show her how fast is car was. Now this fella wasn't just on my bumper, He was actually Swerving from side to side all over my rear end, 'what a complete dick !!'.
Now I'm sorry to say I took the bait. The roads were fairly quiet with only a few cars infront of me but nothing coming the other way. I slowed down to about 30 and slotted in 2nd gear. He obviously knew what was coming as he was closer than ever..
So I plant my foot, into 3rd, go past the three cars that are infront, into 4 th and carry on accelerating into clear road. Before 5 th was needed I backed off and checked the mirror. The prat was no where near me, absolutely left him standing.
So I carry on my journey at 60mph. Point proven.
I know I shouldn't of done it and I'm probably almost as bad as the dick in the BMW, but sorry chaps I couldn't resist. And I'm sure many of you guys on here would of done the same.
I don't agree with road racing, never have as I've seen what damage car crashes can do to peoples lives. But now again, when weather and road conditions permit, a quick blast is ok in my book.

Don't think I've ever had a car revving up their engine at the lights with me, i don't think I've actually raced another chavvy car on the road. I've come up against a mk1 fiesta which kept up with me while I was on the way home once, that's it. Maybe I'm lucky I guess lol

they chavvy racers floating about in car parks has even put me off gettin a late night maccie d's
although thats prob a good thing for me lol
but the idea of turning up with the place full of boy racers fecking about puts me right off going there, specially if the police turn up and would no doubt lob me in with the same lot...

my mate at work was minding his own business in his bugeye when some **** in another scoob decided they needed to show him they were better drivers o.0
needless to say they cut in front, hit a roundabout at far to fast and nearly drove it off the road.....

o well takes all sorts! heh

myself ive had a few moments, but generally try and ignore most of them
worst one i had was a Van, who decided i wasnt allowed to pass on a quiet dual carriage way (in my CTR at the time) and was dangerously swerving around in the road to stop me going past o.0

and i'll keep an eye out for a CRX scoobiesteve103 :P im down your way end of the week, got a week in cornwall near Bude

had a ******** in a black tdi golf on the way to work on sunday, 40mph zone shoot past me doing at least double that. didnt see the car coming in the other direction, nearly head on collison only to get caught at the roadworks abit further down the road. gave him the ****** sign and got 2 fingers up back. 30/35 year old bloke with his 3 mates in the car, total ******. for me the chavs arn't the problem, its the reps/buisness men in there audi/merc estates and ***** in golfs.

Near where I work, there's a straight dual carriageway with 3 mini roundabout 100 yards apart, many cars like golf gti, rx8, bmw etc, drove past me so fast that they needed to brake so hard when approaching these mini roundabout, but at the end I always caught up or even ahead of them, I was only doing 40mph or so all the way from start to end without even braking ofcourse!!

i had a chav in a "M" reg honda civic (with the manditory aftermarket big bore exhaust and black bonnet )up my *** today , overtaking on my inside lane approaching a roundabout and "shot" out without giving right of way in heavy traffic ( causing the cars that are on the roundabout to brake hard )..............tipical !!
