Looks great, Matt.
When do you reckon it'll be finished? I know you said on 22B you still had some costly odds and sods to source.

Got headers, up/down pipe, exhaust & charge pipes to be fabricated and in-car loom to be made, dry sump lines and fittings as well as a few other bits and pieces.
Center console. Just the AFR gauage and fire extinguisher pull handle to be added.

From behind.

A huge thanks to Neil & his mate Tom who came over to Gaz's yesterday to wire up the in-car loom. As the pics show, they did a brilliant job.

the brakes are on the wrong side, bleed nipples at the top and cross over pipe underneath, Also the AP discs normally have the vains going the other direction so these could be on the wrong side also

+1 to above about the brakes,if the bleed nipple is at the base you would struggle remove all the air upon bleeding.
Loving this build though, can't wait to see it finished.
Fair play to you mate

Thanks chaps. Glad you like it.
Nothing mega exciting but a couple more pics. I'm up at Gaz's for a week so hopefully we'll have some pics of real progress by the end of this coming week.
Didn't realise just how wide it looks from the back
Kinda like it though.

R180 hubs fitted along with rear brakes.

Brake Reservoir location choosen and mount made.

Dry sump tank in place with a bracket made to hold the tank and the remote suspension canister.

Finally back home after being at Gaz's for almost a week. Got through a fair bit on the car and I'm happy to say that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Still not sure if I'll make the Saturday for TOTB but I do think the car will be far off.
Big thanks to Gaz & Steve for their efforts this week and also to Gus who gave me some goodies when I went up to see him in Sellafield. Lovely part of the world you live in Gus and will definately pop by next time I'm up that way. Thanks again for the coffee and bits for the car.
So pics time
Got the brake resivours plumbed in. Will be making a small heat shield for them just to be on the safe side.

Decided where the charge pipes were going.

Extended the pedal box foot plate. This will be getting covered in a sheet of grip tape that they use on skateboards.

I was a bit worried about being able to get the 4088 to spool so after a last minute change of plan this little beauty came on board . Nice billet 35r.

Changed the mounting point of the accelerator as it was too close to the brake pedal.

Fitted the timing belt & single scroll GT2 spec headers

Started making the 1st charge pipe

It was also time to try out Gaz and Neils handy work with the wiring. Happy to report that everything worked fine and for the first time in 2 1/2 years since I bought the shell and the engine the car finally sprung into life. Well chuffed

So thats it for now until the next update. Huge thanks again to Gaz & Steve for all their hard work.
