I have to be honest and say i'm loving the campaign! On-line play seems better too with the sound being noticibly better since the patch.

Still keep getting game lobbys closing though which is annoying but still seem to get straight back in a game.

As much as this game has it's issues I am now officially finished with MW2 and will crack on to complete the campaign and level up on multiplayer on Black Op's.

Next addiction seems to be the gun game on wager matches

Still does'nt stop me from looking forward to see what Infinity Ward can come up with next

 

I got so frustrated with this game last night. Lag was terrible and we kept getting booted from games.

Very tempted to bin it and go back to MW2!

 

Also the other thing i hate about this game is..

RANDOM SPAWN!!

The Enemies ALWAYS Spawn behind you,

resulting in always dieing from behind !!!

 

I agree ^^ enemies keep spawning behind you, and i find that the gun you use varies in amount of damage each match sometimes easy to kill then the next match empty a entire mag for a kill!?!?

 

have been playing this on the PC, a few time it has crashed, not most of the time ok. but today, steam has done a up date, and now i can not get the game to play. it starts up and after fetching data etc it freezes and then crashes.

any ideas?

This game is connection based, the better your connection the better you are. Ive lost count of the amount of times ive got the drop on someone only for him to turn around a shoot me twice and im dead. It sucks!

Also, i could be camping the guy comes around the corner, i start shooting before he see's me and again im dead. Looking at the kill cam it shows he is already around the corner before ive started to shoot, proving that he is slightly ahead of me in connection time.

I dont mind being beat but atleast let it be on an even playing field.

 

MW2 far better...cod points is just ridiculous, the old level up system was far better. I shall keep it for now but have been emailed that GT5 is in the post!!!

 

Will be going back to MW2 the next time the PS3 is on I think. Just seems much more fun, and the perks all make a genuine difference in their own ways, so there is a bit more strategy IMO. Black Ops might be more realistic (read boring), but you can always join the army if you want that... I personally prefer jumping 30 feet from a roof in favela and then slashing someone!

 

I am already seeing pople at 14 th prestige . Either they have no life or somehow have hacked their way there.

 

Must of hacked it, one of my sons somehow done it in MW2 but he never told me how, just said he got invited to a 10th prestige lobby where it happened. At first he tried to tell me he had prestiged all the way through but his game time was only something like 2 days play

Ive seen people's gamertags in BO in different colours and added symbols, also obviously hacked.

 

I have already done that ...... Now back on MW2 and enjoying it more than Black Ops !

 

I completed the campaign yesterday and loved it, the story was great.

Went on multiplayer and I am experiencing the same problems as already stated.

Keep getting kicked out of lobbys, takes 100 bullets to kill someone and keep losing connection. It's very frustrating! Always appear to have a good connection though?

Oh and I bought the Famas and Galias yesterday and have decided automatic assault rifles are rubbish! M14 single fire does the trick!

Plus has anyone had issues where you've re-named your classes only to see them default next time you play? also I am experiencing the control settings keep randomly changing on-line and the sesitivity turned up high

 

I find I have to odd decent game then it goes downhill. Start with a good connection then lose it half way through a game. The lag is terrible and I find knifing people impossible, I miss and they turn and shoot me! Today my Famas was doing hardly any damage and 1 guy I was shooting at and hitting didn't get any damage at all! I find I shout at the TV more with Black Op's and it's not enjoyable to play, it just winds me up!

 

Think i've overdoesed on cod games in general at the moment, still enjoying Blackops but i've gone to playing Forza 3 again in the last couple days

 

Those remote control cars are stating to p1ss me off now they are a 2 kill streak with hardline which is way too low. I must have been killed 4 or 5 times a match in some games last night, even when I shot them they still blew up and killed me.

Well tried it again today. 1st game played for about 1 minute then lost host. Took about 3 min's to get back to menu and then closed the lobby. Next game playing for about 2 min's and connection inturrupted, again lobby was closed. Turned it off after that. VERY POOR! I hope they are aware of this problem and are trying to sort it out.

 

i believe they are aware of all these issues after reading their website yesterday.

 

i have also gone back to mw2. i was getting stressed trying to play it. since the update i havent been able to get online, once i get online it tells me blackops is down. i have given up now.

Thats the reason I'm not a big fan of Forza either, if I want to go and understeer round a corner I'll just go outside and do it myself

I'm also back on MW2 as of last night, the only game modes I like are the wager matches, considering trading in BO for NFS

randomly got thrown out of a party last night

Launched my RC car and it just sat there hovering in mid air about 2 foot off the ground and wouldn't move. Eventually blew up.

Was this game actually tested before release
