Haywood & Scott Exhaust - What do you think?
Had full cat back H&S on my Classic and then uprated to 3". Both good.
Sat went to Ian to get a centre section silencer fitted to my Hatch 3" Milltek system (came with the car) as it was 103.5dB @ 5krpm so unlikely to pass 105dB drive by tests on track. Made up a great box and its now 87.5dB @ 5krpm so should even be OK at Bedford

h&s backbox for forester
Had a custom, quieter H&S backbox made and fitted a short while ago and couldnt be happier. Even the wifewas impressed by how right they got the sound.

i had a afterburner votex on my hawk and loved it and now i have this on my hatch and love it cant fault them.

Always liked my Hayward & Scott Turbo back straight through center + de-cat on my old classic, quite on cruise, Messerschmitt on tunnel runs !

I have the prodrive system on my classic so decat centre (but still resonated) and prodrive backbox, if I put a straight through centre section (so de-resonated) will this make a big difference in volume, and will it drone on the motorway etc? I woulnt mind a little bit more volume!
Think you'd be better changing the backbox RB5 as the Prodrive is really quiet.
I just removed mine and fitted a Ninja 1. I also fitted an afterburner straight centre but don't think that made as much difference as I thought, maybe just a little deeper. But the Ninja sounded so much better than the Prodrive and even with the straight centre I don't notice any droning tbh.
There's a Ninja on the bay at the moment really cheap that would probably clean up OK and give you an idea for not a lot of bucks.
