IMO tthe astra would have been the easier seller of the 2? its just cos its near chrimbo that you still had it.. im still stuck with mine at the minute even tho it cheap?

just the way the market is at the minute
but if your happy and feel your getting closer to a scooby then thats all that matters

is that an MDF splitter attached to the front bumper? lol

tbh mate, get rid of all the decals and M badges, the silly splitter, respray the trim satin black and give it a good polish and a wax..youll have more luck in finding a swap then!

fair enough mate, but at the end of the day your trying to swap an abortion for someones Scoob, so may be worth listening to the advice from Subaru owners as per the advice for the astra, again with silly spoilers!

your not gonna swap your scooby for it trinity are you?? cause you are one of thousands and what you think cars should look like is not what everyone else thinks, give the guy a break, i honestly dont know why anyone would jump on a thread giving nothing but negative remarks and comments.

Nicely said Fifer mate.FYI Trinity I have already owned 2 subarus AND have swapped both due to being bored with them NOT to make a profit out of someone BUT to actually enable the other person to experience ownership of such a nice car!!The boredom never lasts long and I want another Subaru again.AS SAID ABOVE YOU might think its an abortion but then again people might think YOUR CAR is an abortion.I am NOT the kind of person that puts others OR their vehicles down but obviously you get some kind of kick out of it.Do me a favour mate and Pi** off and do it somewhere else please! If you have nothing nice to say,say NOTHING! Cheers mate.

Some fresh pics of the work done may help, not the weather for it but also polish. Have you tried to sell and not swop, plenty of free sites and papers to use.

Yeh,thanks for your input buddy. Its nice to actually have someone on here thats genuinely trying to help me out.
What im gonna do is get the car 100% sorted(well,98%,theres a hole in the drivers seat that I cant fix) then get some pics up.Its had a really good outside clean by this ALL FEMALE valeting company called "PRISTINE AUTO CLEAN" from Hull yesterday and its looking VERY NICE.The new pics will be up around the end of the week I should think depending on the weather as scene as SNOW is forecast.
Thanks again for your genuine, friendly input scooby1doo1 matey.

E46 is the last model of the 3 series. What is for swaps here is an E36 compact.

BT, in my opinion and its only mine; but i have owned a fair few BM's and the compact model you have needs to be as much standard looking as possible to sell. Even though it shares the same wheel base as the E36, albeit shorter its mechanicaly different. It uses the E30 live rear axle and different suspension set ups, so is not really what people look for in an E36. But the beauty of it is, is that women love them as they are easier to run around in due to the COMPACT size of them and they are cheaper insurance grouping. But you really need to get it back to standard to attract the type of person (limited) who are after one. Your car has the proven on road and track 1900cc 16 valve engine, E30 M3 origin live rear axle, Bullet proof reliability and build quality ETC...HTH and good luck.

Lose the stickers and tat mate and stick new photos up It isn't a bad car but it looks like it could be with that lot on it.

Sorry if that sounds harsh but I wouldn't go near a car looking like that, if it looked standard I'd look at it for my wife
