This sort of thing has been done before. My mother was a teacher for 30+ years.

I don't need to be ranting on here about time spent planning, marking, cutting, backing boards, stripping boards etc etc. I know that she, as a mother of four had a very hard job.
I'm not going to let people on hear poo poo that fact, it's not worth getting your panties in a twist over.

If her job was easy or her days were short, I wouldn't have spent years being picked up by my granparents because she didn't 'clock off' when the children did.

I know better than to be offended by people dragging down the teaching proffession.

How do you find it?

This is a bit of a light hearted thread but I am still in a tiny part of my mind considering a career change in say 3 to 4 years.

1) Can you still drive a Scoob as a Teacher?

2) Can you get drunk?

3) Can you speed?

1) Yes
2) I did on Friday!!
3) Got 3 points to prove it

Now, in all seriousness, I am a primary school teacher and I absolutely love it. The pay is not great but the time off with your own children makes up for that. It can be long hours during term time, what with marking books, assessments, staff meetings, planning, parents evenings, extra clubs etc but again I love it and wouldn't change it for the world. I would certainly recommend the job, but you do have to be patient, caring and very creative. Hope this helps.

Oh the irony, perhaps you should use spell check more often before criticising others. anonymous only has one 'n'

Maths isn't your strong point then - anonymous does in fact have two n's, not three as per Pete's post. .

Wouldn't it be better as 'n's, as opposed to n's? That reads as belonging to n.

That's two n's belonging to 'anonymous', so I'm correct... and being a DCI I am able to detect rather well, in fact I'm detecting a complete bell end on this thread... evening SRSport

That's why I keep me other half a secret.

Usually chained up somewhere. Deserving of a whipping now and again

When I was stationed in Germany, we used to call the female ones "Toolscreachers"
