Hybrid Front Mount Intercoolers.
Any idea of a due date on the newage ones yet? Give myself untill new year to sort an HDi front mount. After that i`ll have to spend more either coming to you or buying a perrin.

Absolutely no idea. HDi are not the best communicators. I am told a new model for the New Age is being brought out and New Age front mounts I ordered last April have not been delivered so my confidence in them is at a low ebb. Good product just crap communication and management.
on a scale of 1-10 how hard are the gt2 kits fitting to newage(bug)
i know you and api can make it work ,but would it be possible to buy one with "fitting instructions" as its the last piece of my jigsaw
hdi should be ashamed !
cheers harvey

It is not difficult to fit and will depend on your own fitting ability. It simply involves cutting pipes and using silicon joiners or as we did using some silicon bends available from TX Motorsport, Viper or similar. Obviously not as simple as fitting the GT or GT2 to the Classic but not beyond the ability of a capable home mechanic.
I am totally cheesed off with Hybrid because they have some fantastic products but lack clear communication and organisation. I have no problem with supplies of GT and GT2 for the Classic and understand a new FMIC with the latest core is being developed for the New Age cars but when I got a development kit 12 months ago the pipework was all wrong and there was not even a spiggot for the BOV. I still have that kit here waiting for the appropriate car to fit it but it is expensive £515 and for that I had fairly expected a kit that only needed minor alterations to fit.
Yes the pipework run is different in that it is all on top of the engine.

I have no current information on the new New Age FMIC kit was was previously going to be available to me in November. I do have no problem with GT and GT2 kits.
Hi Harvey,
I was in contact with HDI direct and will be ordering a kit up over the next few weeks for my legacy, one modification i will need to make is to the section that connects onto my turbo. Since i currently have a clocked vf36 in mine to connected to the existing Hyperflow TMIC, the kit in question is designed to connect to a flanged turbo connection whereas i have the standard vf36 connection. im just curious the best way to modify this are silicone bend couplers better or aluminium bends?
Im probably on my own on this venture! Some pictures when i get it might help!

Harvey, is it possible to fit a newage gt2 with cold air feed and filter and then drive 70 miles to a mapper. or is that a bad idea? I'm in Cardiff and B.Rawle is in Swindon
