Hi Chris, Have you managed to get it mapped yet. I got my mirrors at last, but i didn't like them on my wagon, LOL. I have also managed to get a Spec C Anti Surge 10bar fuel Pump like yours, its a GSR one. That will save me going down the Swirl Pot Route. A lot less noise and fuel smells.
hows it going ?

Stunning car there buddy, really nice.
You said in a previous post that you would of been over the moon if it only cost 20K, so in real terms it was closer to 30. If you can afford to throw 30K at it then fair play. You've ended up with something special there.
But I just can't get my head around how they can justify charging 30K + for a build. Am I missing something ?? Awesome, amazing, beautiful car, but 30K,,,, really ??
30K is a serious amount of money chaps.

Very very very nice!!
Bet your over the moon!!
Can`t take it with you, and if you can afford it and want to do it go for it.
Not everyone wants an off the peg car, and this one is awesome.

Please don't think I'm slating this car, far from it infact, it is truly an awesome build. But if you think any engine ( regardless of build ) can withstand constant thrashing for years to come then you are very much mistaken.
Well done on the build and I hope you enjoy every minute of her.

£30K can be swallowed up by one of these builds no problem. Think about it guys, the man hours that goes into these to make sure every tiny detail is as near perfect as possible.
RCM do a beautiful job and they have their marketing absolutely spot on. They do not frequent any forums, nor do they advertise in magasines etc, yet everyone wants a piece of the RCM action.
RCM builds are beautiful, and supply and demand will see that if someone wants the RCM treatment. Then it comes at a price.
Id build a replica of this for £30k if someone let me

Im sure there are one or two that inevitably have a niggle or some sort. RCM do a beautiful job, but nothing is perfect... ever!
But realistically, how many punters are likely to shout about it on a forum if they had an issue with RCM? Especially after spending their hard earned with them. People associate absolute perfection with RCM and all their work. People would not want to admit otherwise if there were ever a problem. (not that im suggesting there is)
Despite the beautiful builds, its a brand for the elitest. And a build by the elite will always attract people that can afford that brand.
Does a Rolex actually tell the time any more accuately than that of a Casio G-shock? In reality, not really. But same outcome, different quality.
People will always pay top dollar for quality

I was in F1 CJE UK's position 4 years ago with my RCM build wondering about warranties etc.
32,000 miles later, numerous track days and NOTHING has gone wrong other than a Map Sensor failing at Silverstone. Arrived at RCM at 1.15 AM whereby Olly & Matt were waiting.
My friend & I were then driven to a hotel (all booked & paid for by RCM).
Collected from the hotel at 10.15am, back to RCM then drove home.
I was competing at The MLR 30-130 for the first time last year and was shocked at the amount of cars that were failing, blowing up or breaking. I sent a text to RCM from the event and mentioned the volume of breakages and asked if it was okay for me to keep at it all day.
There text reply was "drive it like you stole it & enjoy"
THAT is what you pay for at Roger Clark Motorsport.

"People will always pay top dollar for quality & exclusivity"
Im sure the quality of e.g. EngineTuner or even your own work Frayz, is not far off from RCM, but its the Roger Clarke Motorsport name (& service, after reading SkullFudge's post! ) that people pay for IMO.
ps Fabulous car mate

Fully agree with what your saying Frayz but I would amend it to:

Thanks for the kind comments guys, the car is mega and should serve me very well for many years to come. It’s not the type of car that I will be trading in so I wanted to get the car perfect 1st time, I gave up on the idea of keeping up with new models etc so £30K + over my life span would be very cheap performance car ownership that’s the same amount as you would lose in 3 years on a M3/M5.
I now have a very fast road/ track car and a very fuel efficient and a semi fast Skoda VRS all for the cost of a GTR/ M3. For me this strikes a much better combination low fuel costs day to day, more hardcore road/ track car and more importantly when I am popping into the shops I am not worrying that my pride and joy is sitting outside being damaged or stolen.
For me the days when you can have a very fast road car that gets used day to day is dead, I spend most of my drive to work stuck in traffic, i then park up in a public car park next to people who don’t care what damage they cause.

Relating to post Nr 177 your answers & comments are spot on Chris.
Don't let others lead you to believe you have made a wrong decision mate, you haven't. This will become more than evident the longer you have (and enjoy) your car.
Yes, your engine design is very similar to mine as Matt & Olly have both told me so. Your current power levels are what many class as optimum for your requirements as a fast road car and some enjoyable times at open pit track days, and I agree, having come up through the power level ranks with my P1.
You are now in a great position because the big bucks are behind you and more power (a lot more power) is achievable at a fraction of your previous outlay, ie, going twisted, GT35 b/w turbo, Meths % etc.
Give it a year then go twisted on 20% Meths MASSIVE difference
I've mentioned it before to you, don't be frightened to give it some. Nothing goes wrong, trust me.
RCM have NEVER had an engine failure, period. Nothing on record anywhere
