What i received turned out to be a gameboy charger so it looks awfully like weve been ripped off

 

That seems strange given his trading record, perhaps hes sent you wrong item

 

I received the same, I'm getting worried now as he has £300 of my cash. He did say he wouldn't be online for 3 weeks and he has a good iTrader record so I'm not assuming the worst yet however I am getting worried.

i also sent a cheque recorded delivery for avcr on the 6th april, and got a pm on the 14th saying it was sent and would be 2 to 14 days,and that he was moving house and would not be on line for 3 weeks,
2 to 14 days.......where are they ment to be coming from??????
have someone looking into this at the moment and his name doesnt tally up with the name of the people at the address which he gave

only thing i have received recently was a envelope that had to be signed for,so i did,as you do, and when i opened it there wre a pair of instalation discs for a dell computer?????
now i know that atleast one other person who has bought and not received his avcr also has received a pair of install cd's for a dell computer!!!

I reckon he's sent these bogus pieces so he can 'prove' that you signed fot the items you bought if paypal run a check - if any of you used paypal that is.....First you should all try through your banks/paypal etc then you guys really need to find his addy and all meet up there at the same time.

I've just phoned that number, the guy on the end claims he is called 'dave' and has never heard of scoobynet. He said he's a serving copper and that he is not happy that his number has been publicy posted. He also told me that we have very little chance of getting our money back and that the police won't do anything about it. He suggested that the only realistic solution was to start a civil case but this would be pricey. Also, he seemed very keen that NO private details of cossie-nutter are posted online or that we would all be in serious trouble with the police ourselves???? Anyway, he sounded genuine but obviously he could just be cossie-nutter trying it on or perhaps one of his friends? Can I ask why you think that is his mobile number cav400?
Regardless of the phone call I've just had I'm not giving up on this as after 11 years of dealing with people online I've never been conned so losing £300 has made me very angry!!!

 

Does anyone know his first name, it starts with a M. I have information in regards to a possible address for cossie-nutter, nut I need to know for definate his first name!!

The address that he gave for payments to be sent, is not his address, but he must have access to this address or know the proprietor's, to get the cheques etc that everyone sent.

I do have information in regards to the people at the address he gave us for payments etc, and also a possible address for 'cossie-nutter'

Any more info in regards to this situation would be appreciated.

If someone does know him and there is a genuine problem that we should be aware of then it would be a good idea to let him know of the current situation.

I am still very hopeful that this user is honest and will come through with the items that we have payed for.
