The Florence/Dizzee highlighted for me the difference between someone who can sing and someone who standas there ranting like a demented tramp, I kind of like Dizzee Rascal but he doesnt make a very nice noise, its kind of like when the dog is carrying on with itself following the postmans visit.

I like Oasis but Peter Kay has it spot on about Liam Gallagher, he`s a 2 year old in a 37 year olds body.

He also threw the award into the audience.

They got the mike back and apparently there was a PA announcement saying the show would not continue if the mic was not returned from the mosh pit!

I see LG took the "********" comment to heart, he twittered the following

"Listen up fat f*** as a real northerner I was brought up 2 say s*** 2 people's faces not behind their back.

"Live forever LG."

Grow up you talentless spoilt child, Oasis was Noel, end of.

Why shouldn't Southerners find him funny?

A few years ago, Phoenix Nights and the office were both on TV at much the same time. It was my impression - backed up by the disproportionate media coverage and awards given to Ricky Gervais - that the Southerners liked the adventures of Mr. Brent whilst us Northerners preferred Mr. Potter.

Your assumption is quite wrong. The only disappointment was when he started to run out of different material for a bit.

He is a very funny bloke in all respects. And I thought his mum was a laugh too!

PN should have classic status, too many hillarious moments to mention.
