Yep, a specialist. Full OEM clutch replacement. No flywheel though. Not as bad as you think out there in Renault land.

Problem with drag racing is it's not so much the budget, it’s just the concept of ploughing a boring straight line. You could stuff a Chimp in there to do that.

Maybe I’m rich and also talented. Could be a double whammy.

When Subaru eventually folds, if you are nice to me I could pop in a word with Renault to mop up the Subaru dregs and maintain a limited parts supply for their historic range. May need to shift manufacturing to France though.

Just seems a strange thing to do after waxing lyrical about the benefits of the Renault's chassis and it's responsiveness...surely in a big heavy AMG (an S class at that), you loose that interaction?

 

Why would I want to take it to a main dealer, unless it was a warranty issue?

Do you all have your tuning and specialist work done at Subaru main dealers then?

 

i know the 172 clio is just over 1k to change + service at renault
