The Renault is just my hack - and fine one at that. No one does the Hot Hatch thing better ATM.

I could have had the latest generation WRX, but come on? The thing is a turd.

Online reviews FTW

"Renault have struck a new deal with breakdown service provider Green Flag. Initial roll out will re-franchised and FOC on all new 2010 Meganes, the aptly named 'White Flag', recognises the on going issues Renault have with reliability "....

it will still rip you a new **** on anything but a single racetrack under perfect climatic control and conditions.

so that means 100% better as a daily hack in my book.

You don't always need to replace the Dual Mass flywheel.

Santa Pod is a working class activity. Enjoy it.

thats a renault specialist not md and is that gen clutch???

oh yeah i forgot santa pod was working class and you race so that makes you a rich idiot because you are the only people that can really afford to race now, whats the phrase ALL THE GEAR AND NO IDEA, i've been around motorsport for 31yrs now and followed most clubman chamoinships and spannered 5 cars to 5 championships and watched the tallented WORKING class not get any where because they don't have the money to move onto the more hi end championships as the only people that get sponsership are the big buisness man who basicly say's if you don't sponser me you won't get my buisness and and when your looking at just under 100k to run in the clio cup the working class talented driver can't afford that but the untalented rich man can

Probably not............................................... . But if he had a BMW in his stable we could give a tiny amount of credence to his opinion. RWD rules especially with a big engine

‘Ello have I drifted into a Toyota Corolla owners forum here.....

‘I tell you what, let’s show him some Reliability Indexes. That should give him something to really think about’....

I thought I was on enthusiasts site. What about sharp, crisp handling, braking, nicely tuned chassis and all that malarkey?

Yep, a specialist. Full OEM clutch replacement. No flywheel though. Not as bad as you think out there in Renault land.

Problem with drag racing is it's not so much the budget, it’s just the concept of ploughing a boring straight line. You could stuff a Chimp in there to do that.

Maybe I’m rich and also talented. Could be a double whammy.

I thought a 911 was RWD with a big donk. I have just flogged my GT3 RS if that counts. Currently Porsche less.

What the new WRX? 1400 Kg and 227 Bhp?

I'll rip my own **** just laughing at it.

You do know Renault already owns Nissan?

When Subaru eventually folds, if you are nice to me I could pop in a word with Renault to mop up the Subaru dregs and maintain a limited parts supply for their historic range. May need to shift manufacturing to France though.

a specialist as in main dealer or some who purely does renault as in k-tec?????

yes it just a straigth line, but you do need a perfect lauch and gear change, to say it's working class is a bit snobbish???

well prove your championship wins, lap records amd pole positions and then i might change my mind

Ta, appreciate your congratulations.

Just seems a strange thing to do after waxing lyrical about the benefits of the Renault's chassis and it's responsiveness...surely in a big heavy AMG (an S class at that), you loose that interaction?

Why would I want to take it to a main dealer, unless it was a warranty issue?

Do you all have your tuning and specialist work done at Subaru main dealers then?
