I really want a B7 RS4 but my budget wont stretch to that at the moment so I will probably go for a B7 S4 in the interim as i am not the sort of person that has to drive like a mad man wherever i go so the performance difference wouldnt be a major setback,i'd rather the relaxing cruise everywhere which is how i have driven my Spec C for the last 3 years. It just doesnt get driven the way it is designed for
Getting old? possibly but i would rather drive the family in luxury rather than a noisy tin box that i am afraid to park out of my sight

One of the reasons i changed.

Too many being driven by tw*ts these days, that have tarnished every Scooby driver with the same brush.

Seriously though, how do you find the Sports Suspension Plus? When my old man ordered his, we considered this, but felt it might make the car too stiff and crashy. The standards car set-up is perfect (in my opinion) but I've never driven one with the SSP option.
Have you driven both? How did they compare?

True. When deciding what weekend car to buy, I considered both an RB320 and a Type25. Apart from being second hand, the main reason I never bought one was the Scooby image.

***** in every car brand. Buy the car that suits you the best and is most fun to own, not the badge on the bonnet.

best quote on this thread, don't get arsey about a scooby or audi etc, buy what makes you feel happy and not what you think people will like you for because at the end of the day its a bit of metal that gets you from a to b.

Thanks for all the kind comments on my car guys.......
On the topic of Sports Suspension Plus..... I have been used to Subaru's for 10 years now including a 22b and various cars with other suspension set ups (AST's / EXE-TC), so comfort hasnt been high up in my priority list, but having said that I think its the perfect comprimise between comfort and sporty ride. I have driven other none SS+ suspension cars, and too be honest it isnt that much firmer at all. I really would call it about perfect !!!!
As for the next car.... probably a GTR !!!!!
Cheers !

Your probably lucky it was a v8 b7 and not a b5 rs4 which has the 2.7 bi turbo, a simple £500 remap on these and you've got 420bhp, ive got the s4 avant which has the same lump which is going in for a remap soon!
