27th of september 1995- examiner was meant to b strict( well thats wat my instructor told me) and he made me do a turn in a road in the tightest street i hav ever seen in my life- there was only just enough space for one car to squeeze past those parked on the road and to top it off hedges had over grown on the road side so u culdnt see the kerb and wen i thought that was bad, he made me reverse round a corner UPHILL (i cant reverse to this day!)

however i am sure he helped me on a few occasions by coughin to draw my attention to pedestrians or traffic.

i passed with only 4 minor faults and that was due to misunderstandin his directions at a roundabout leadin to erratic lane changin and random indicatin!

best bit was wen he said to my instructor, that i was the best young driver he had seen so far! wonder wat he would say if he saw me drivin now.....

sister started learnin around the same time as me....................shes still takin lessons to this day....................

Mo

Didn't pass car test until 27th birthday, too busy p*ssing round on bikes ...
Funniest thing was when he stepped out in front of me for the emergency stop. I locked up everything and was doing a bit of a broadside towards him and he took to his heels down the road! I was enjoying it

Cool

17th December 1984, 7 months after my 17th.

Wouldn't fancy my chances of passing the modern test!

The instructor was a complete a$$hole, but I still passed on my first time. Had an argument with the instructor, as he said I was wrong in one of my answers but it turned out he was wrong. Had another instructor back me up on that one.
