Just buy the body and then get a decent lens to go with it. The standard lens are never very good

but you can't buy a lens for the difference in price between a body or a kit.. cost difference is about £60.

Yes but you get a better lens for the £60 difference. You'll soon find the kit lens is restrictive like i have !
