BRANDS HATCH
Thanks to some Fool agreeing to go and watch Kev in this weather, I have got absolutely soaked at Brands hatch.
But on the positive side, the racing was really good, though a little complicated to watch as there was a handicap system, time and laps
Kev should have won the second race, but backed off on the last corner not realising he was leading and the car behind was second!!!!!!!!! Fool.
Anyway Well Done Kev, great result for a newly built car on it's first outing, should bode really well for next season.
Sorry we didn't hang around after race two, but the rain was hammering down so made a run for the focarse

From: Daily drive is a Scoob again - just what it should be!
Cold, wet, windy, bl00dy awful day....................
..................but TOTALLY AWESOME drive by Mr D!!

Brilliant bit of driving by Kev - torrential rain, really windy, but he KEPT OFF THE GRASS!
For the first time out in his new car, he drove brilliantly, leading from the start until the final corner!
Will post some piccys up when I get home - not to Bri4n's standard, but hopefully got some good ones!!
WELL DONE KEV!!! CAN'T WAIT UNTIL NEXT SEASON!!

Thanks to everyone who came today in really awful weather!
It was great to have the car out on track even though its not running at its full potential yet (very flat at bottom end). Not a bad thing though in the conditions today!!!!
Really, really chuffed with 2nd place (not many can say they have been on the podium at Brands!) & a great trophy!
Big thank you to Craig & John of CBMS Motorsport @ Wickford who built the car & Gaz Shocks.
Thanks also to Ark, Hils & Coz for the pressie......... Since getting home and speaking to Paula, I was informed that Hil's Rainbow was the lucky omen!

From: Happy that I'm back in a Scooby - but maybe I should have told the wife...!
As promised, a few pictures from yesterday. Not the usual high quality ESC snaps, but hopefully okay!! You can tell I didn't have a step-ladder - bl00dy fence.....
I think your job as offical photographer is quite safe Brian!!
The all important rainbow.......

In the Paddock, waiting for the first race

Like I said - bl00dy fence!

Out on track

Kev's team mate Mark - in the car Kev 'modified' last time out!!

Leading the pack - the drier of the two races!

Another good shot of the fence!

One very happy racing driver!

Bu&&er - just realised I've posted this under Ark's name - due to the speed of the site at the moment I really can't be ar$$ed to redo it all - but I did these (Hils) NOT Ark!!

At last this site has picked up speed.
Still it`s never going to be as fast as you was on sat Kevd fastwheels
Well done for an excellent drive in extreme conditions even ducks would of struggled round there.
Looking forward to more excellent performances next year when the traction control is working.
