If an older man grows facial hair, does it make him look younger or older?
I ask this as i would think that it hides the wrinkles.

 

A proper beard puts 10 years on most men.

And it certainly doesn't hide the wrinkles around the eyes. Unless he's a chimp. He'll then probably not be vain enough to care how old he looks, just where his next banana is coming from.

 

Haven't had a clean shave since my wedding day 4 years ago, as I have a shaved head a stubbly chin suites me.
Being clean shaven makes me look about 16.
No1 clippers ftw

No.1 on the clippers for me but still let it grow Forest Gump style before I do it. Laziness is my excuse

Shave at the weekend always have done. I always get told I suit a 5'oclock shadow

 

I usually shave my head and face totally (bar eyebrows) as I'm 25 and have been receeding since 19. If I don't do this, I would set the clippers to "0" and do the same.

But I haven't bothered shaving or trimming for 5 weeks and love my bushy beard. The Mrs says I look sexy, we're buying her a new stripey stick tomorrow.

 

I constantly have stuble and constantly get asked when i plan to shave properly.
I didnt shave for my wedding day either, as i said to the wife why have wedding photo's with a strange face in them

 

i wet shave on a Monday then using my Braun electric shaver to top up throughout the week. I have pretty ****ty skin, so wet shaving everyday would be a pain in the ****.

 

Im forced to do excavate the razor once i start losing vital nutrients in the whiskers

 

Work in an office so it has to be every few days. Normally on a monday morning, then weds / thurs - can't let it go any further or i start to look like a hobo...... Always a wet shave though, and freshly done for anywhere posh!

Did anyone else notice the grizzly adams mr beckham was sporting the other night lol??

 

I just got married and kept my stubble. Don't see why you need to have a smooth face to get married. I look like a *** with a smooth face. The stubble suits me better. Can't remember the last time I had a wet shave. Trimmers for me.

I don't shave on a weekend,well i might if i am going someplace i think it would be better to have a shave,but if i have a free weekend i tend not too...

 

Being blonde my facial hair grows slowly, when I was sporting facial hair I looked odd, a bit like Santa with a number2.

I shave 1.5-2 times a week, whenever I have enough time in the mornings to do it... I used to shave every second day, but my skin went really bad from it... Now that I do it less frequently, it is much better.

Me shaving every day = abatoir bathroom.
