Steve, is the turbo you put one a good one, did you check it or just bolt it on? From memory the original turbo was very tight! You must be the only Scoob owner left there now?

theres a few hylander boys but dont really talk with them, not like my rrf boys.

i pulled my turbo and it was spinning totally fine not like it was when we had it off first time, got one of flee bay checked for play in the shaft also end float seemed pretty good nick

im pretty confident its not the turbo stu as i pulled the bottom bcs pipe and it will spool up fine

im just got the dawes device going to fit it then get the fuel checked make sure its not running lean im not looking to kick the ar*e out it just looking to set to 0.9 if all goes well i might try to get a z4 ecu and set it to 1.1 bar

hope all is going well, you`ll have to let me know how you are getting on hows thed new car coming along, steven

Mate,

I had the very same prob on my old 93WRX......0.8 bar then for 20 mins or so every couple of days 0.5bar.

I always ran the car on v-power.

I changed everything boost related, even trying different ECU's, turbos etc.

I fitted a Polar performance chip from Scott. t () and viola!!!!! never happened again

Hi NAY93WRX - I know the PP chip is great, got one myself, but I cannot see how this would have fixed your problem as the chip alters the mapping on the ecu. This would suggest your original ecu was at fault as it controls the boost but you said earlier that you already tried swapping ecu's & had the same problem???

I have similar problem to thread & same as yours & I have swapped two different ecus & still got the same problem (one ecu was a Z4 & the other is a PP chipped ecu).
