The bonnet vent is directly above the filter also matt. there are a few issues with the standard set up that have caused a few modded cars an issue. The filter pipe directly off the filter is collapsing under load. not getting enough air into the box. I will probably look at the pipercross filter as it has a metal plate that can be drilled to allow more air in from the passenger wing area.

 

The car wont be here till 3rd oct hun keep telling ya that.

Had the call this evening from St Calvin @ Rates Ford , the UG RS will be exiting the transporter in the morning , then the PDI & all ready for collection

As I'm so patient i have no problems awaiting until sat morning for collection , tho i will be there waiting for him to open up

How quickly have those last few weeks gone - it only seems like yesterday you placed the order!

If you've got enough bits to build another one then I would suggest you do - it will save all the arguing over whose car it is - one each!

My money is on it being run in BEFORE you guys head off on holiday...
