That's as may be, but we have just had a five page thread in NSR without the 'W' word in it. I think that should be applauded.

You bloody 'orrible lot! Spare a thought for those of us on a diet..

Pre diet though, beans could be touching eggs.. and hash browns

Eggs have to be well cooked - no snotty eggs on my plate

Beans - I still prefer Heinz I think as long as they are well cooked

Toast golden brown, in triangles

Sausages - I'm going to be burning in hell for this, but I dont do real sausages anymore so it has to be a quorn one..

Bacon - not streaky, and well cooked, rind removed

The only tea to be had with a FEB is Twinings English Breakfast tea

Fried bread?

A slice of bread which is typically fried in the same pan where the egg, bacon & sausage has been to soak up the flavours...

I think being involved in a headed debate about beans and eggs, irrespecive of whether you give a toss or not, is rather pathetic, Bubba, and you either need to

a) Get a life
b) Seek help from a mental health pressional

Thumbs up

Point 1: No one has mentioned that other essential of a proper fry - bubble & squeak/colcannon

Point 2: Sauce etiquette - in a greasy spoon; has to be brown sauce, at home/in a swanky hotel; has to be Lea & Perrins

Point 3: Builder's tea is the only acceptable beverage. Coffee with a fry is like a woman with a map- it just doesn't work.

Final point - eggs/bean interface? Perfectly acceptable

Utter nonsense is it acceptable

Especially if we're talking scrambled eggs. No, no, no. No.

What is bubble and squeak? I've heard it many times but don't actually know what it is.

Have to say although I do like tea with an english, my prefered hot drink in the mornings is coffee.

As for beans/eggs, I wouldn't want the beans poured over the egg. The egg should really be in pristine condition when it arrives in front of me. If I then choose to sully the egg with beans then it is acceptable.
