Hi Bren,
Just received my suspension, however two questions.
1) I ordered rear camber bolts but haven't received them (see post #94). Instead the rears seem to have adjustable top mounts. What to do?
2) Are the rear extenders the correct length or will they need trimming to size?
Many thanks, Mark

Good to hear you guys are happy with them, wait until theyre fitted, you think youre happy now!
Mark,
Im looking into it now. Ive clearly crossed out camber bolts and altered it to adjustable top mounts on your order form. This must have been done for some reason, just checking.
Are you ok swapping over the rear top mounts if we send you some rubber ones and the camber bolts?
The extenders will be too long, I couldnt get the correct info to have them shortened before the standard batch had been manufactured

Ah, my bad Mark, I misread the conversation below. I read your last post and thought you were reffering to your order and acted on that. Sorry.
We will refund the difference in cost between the rubber and camber rear top mounts. If you want to run the camber rear top mounts as a free upgrade to save messing about then you are welcome to do so. I dont generally advise the camber rear top mounts for a road car because they can (as in one in 20 kits) rattle slightly and you just dont need the extra expense when camber bolts will allow alignment to be set sufficiently.
However if asked if its worth going for camber top mounts when the upgrade is free then its a different kettle of fish. Id personally go for the free upgrade but the original advise still stands in that the pillowball can on a rare occasion rattle slightly.

Order placed too!
BR series (6/5 springs) for newage GDB
Rear extenders (pair)
Rear camber bolts (pair)
Thanks to Bren for taking the time to answer all my questions yesterday!
Cheers, Mark
PS: I don't think you need camber bolts for the front since the front struts have adjustable top mounts.

God.....the wait is killing me!!!!
The parcel tracking shows the coilovers went from the Leeds depot at 8.30pm last night to the national depot (wherever that is) arriving at 1.25am.
Took 5hrs to get to the Glasgow depot and left there for delivery at 8.45am this morning.
Here I am 4 1/2 hours later and still waiting even though I'm only 20 miles from Glasgow!!!
I'm sure it makes it worse with me staring out the window.....willing the van to appear!!!

Has anyone fitted theirs to a Newage yet?
I have a set i'll be fitting at the weekend and was curious to know if once the top bolts are undone and the two holding it to the hub are out do the struts slide straight out? Or is it gonna be more of a mission? (drive shafts etc in the way)

Picked up from Parcel Force in Edinburgh tonight. Thought I was going to have to drive home with no parts. Took 3 hours for 60 mile round trip due to 2 accidents on the roads near Edinburgh.
Looking forward to fitting on Friday.
Thanks to Bren & all at APEX for a great GB.
