ecu reset engine check light
u may have faults, u need to get the bulb sorted and then do an ecu fault check, just because u have reset the ecu it dosent mean u have sorted any registered(if any faults) sensors etc.once the bulb is working u can do the fault check and replace any of the sensors if its showing a fault code,if that is the case, then make sure u reset ecu after you have replaced the possible faulty sensor.

Sorry to jump on on your thread but I have an engine check light related question and wondered if anyone had any ideas . I was joining the M25 off of the M4 yesterday and as I joined the motorway and put my foot down as the car hit just under 4000 rpm the car jolted and seemed to loose power then when I checked the dash the engine check light was on . Now everytime I hit similar RPM the same thing happens car begins to splutter and power cuts , also just prior to this my speedo and trip counter had stopped working don't know if this all connected somehow. Any help/advise welcomed
