I agree the front it pretty cool and they aren't too bad in side profile either. Not sure about the back though. It seems to be the back quarter where volvo consistently get it wrong. Take the s60-r, for example, if you look at just about any part of that car in turn then it looks not bad, sporty even. However, look at it as a whole and it just looks like a big boring volvo. I'm not even sure why this is - I'm no designer - I feel like it should be cutting edge but it just isn't somehow.

Hi Saxo Boy. Any update on your average mpg???
I'm considering the ST TDCi now as apart from the seats there doesn't apprear to be any other differences. 40-50mpg sounds good

Currently around 22-23mpg but nearly all of my driving is short trips in and around town with the occasional longer journey and I never treat any of my cars with kids gloves. I'd guess you are looking at around 25mpg if you are a 'normal' driver That's pretty bad I guess??

Yeah 25mpg is not great. I get 32mpg on average from my clio 172. Not a huge difference I suppose but if I get the TDCi I could be looking at 40+mpg.
