The Weathers Lovely, the diary's empty, guess it would be rude not to go a pluck a few doubles out at Oakford Farm, Nounsley.
Short notice I know, but if anyone else wants to join us they will be welcome.
Will be there from about 7.0 untill late afternoon, poss evening?
Remember a hat and loads of sunscreen.

though I should have left with you, didn't land a single fish, but did get bust up 3 times. Heavier set up next time, and targeting some bigger fish
ESB30 and I hopped over a locked gate and tried Rochford Angling's private lake.
After joining Slim and I for a while at Nounsley, Mike has caught the bug. New kit and this is what happened on his first days fishing.
The Lake

Mike's first fish

We both caught plenty of fish, I lost count after 20 and Mike had at least 15, mainly carp between 3 - 8lb, plus i had two 2 ish lb tench.

And this whale was caught using an 11mm pellet!!!!!!!!!!

It needs re stocking !!
local boasts are all reporting some great catches , so lets just hope that are still there on the 26th , I'm sure Robbie boy will find them
Should be plenty of smooth hounds ( Rock Eel ) Roker ( Skate ) Maybe a few Bass if we are lucky & hopefully a few Mackerel on feathers if they are still about , All fish caught you get to take home ( Size Dependant
) Any female hounds will be returned Oh yes most definitely , having had our two previous scheduled trips canceled ( to windy) our freezer is looking a little depleted to say the least

With the up coming sea fishing trip. I thought i'd have a go at some beach fishing of the banks of the Crouch @South Fambridge...
I was told by two independent sources that Bass had been caught there last week
Well clearly they have cleared off this week!!!
So this is my only sea fish of the day (had a few crabs)

The hook is half the size of the fish!!!
Good job I had chicken as a back up for dinner at home!!!
Well hopefully boat fishing will be more productive..

Must admit, i thought they were rather large.... But yet again the fish was particularly small!!!
As for posting it up on WSFF..... i think i'll wait for a slightly more impressive catch..
If I suggested that I was going to use sugar coated luncheon meat, would you believe me?

my 1st Double out of the Lowlands Farm Lake, plus 3 others 8-9lb, and several 3-5lb
