Halal is just prayed on (blessed) meat.. so anyone can eat it. Also they do not get slaughter/treated in the manor on that KFC youtube clip. One other thing though that vid clip is about KFC USA - don't think people in this country would do half the stupid/creul things shown on that clip?
But for the people who have a problem with eating blessed meat just don't eat it. I'm sure there is many other cr4p things you could fill your tummys with. I'd like a big tasty too!

Hello matey.

Correct me if i am wrong but i have done some work for Pizza Hut and KFC (part of same company) and KFC are francished in 90% of cases. Isn't it likely that KFC's offering Halal are owned and operated by Muslims in areas with a high Muslim population

As for Zionist links, maybe in the US or Beiruit - IMHO I have visited the shopping malls in Dubai and Oman for example whilst living and working there, plenty of KFC franchises owned by Arab Muslims, feeding Muslims and whoever else from all over. It was considered a bit of a treat - by the Arabs, more novelty values i guess but the K-Frys where always busy. TBH went to the malls for cheap food, and went for the Arab/Turkish/Pakistani/Iranian/Persian food on offer as did a lot of the westerners.

I have no objection to eating animals etc. but I think they should at least be treated in a humane manner right up to when they are killed. What we saw on that video makes me feel that a firm which knowingly treats living creatures in such a shameful manner in the name of profit should have have a good public kicking from arseholes to breakfast time and be run out of business!

Hey paul long time hope all is well salam.

The arabs in the golf don’t really care what happens as long as there pockets are full. I really do not fancy judging them as I believe only god has the right to judge. There is a lot of product and companies that fund Zionist Israel or shall we say to fund all the killings and wars coke cola, mac dee, tesco, kfc etc research and you will see. And theres 1000 more where do you think israel get all the money for a war that been going for 46 years or more.

Shameless western funding coupled with very good rates on imported arms.

Almost all the outlets you mentioned are franchised as has been said numerous times.

As for the halal KFC thing, back on topic
I am not a muslim, some of you may think I am lucky for this and some of you may think I am cursed because of this, but either way the issue of halal does not bother me because (from my own findings and discussions) western knowledge on halal is often somewhat lacking and sensationalist.
I honestly believe the OP was a plank looking for a national rise in posting this thread and that clearly KFC are a business.
Now, bear with me but aren't business mostly concerned with profit (not Mohammed but the paper variety ) and therefore if the majority of punters were muslim they should move with the times and satisfy the needs of the paying public.

You do of course have the right to set up a rival outlet in the same area selling non halal fried chicken but of course you wont as you're (like me) sat on your fat **** bitching on the tinterweb

Grow up, get a life and be more open minded, hell go out once in a while, you just might like it

I don't think God would have too much trouble with Zionist Israel - it is His creation after all
Maybe you should take a leaf out of His book?

Correct me if i'm wrong but I think most curry places serve halal meat / Chicken. I work next door to an indian takeaway and see the boxes of halal chicken.

I wonder how many people who are bitching about this go out and get a Chicken Tika Massala on Friday night.

May I ask a question re. halal meat. I presume chicken is a meat that Muslims are allowed to eat - yes? As long as its killed in the halal fashion.

Does it actually taste any different to the chiciken killed in the "normal" way?

Genuine question, Mus may be able to enlighten me.

I ask as me and the Mrs are quite partial to a KFC when money allows, and I wouldn't give 2 hoots how its killed (well obviously within reason and cruelty - I mean't to say halal or whatever), as long as it tasted the same afterwards.

Yet another major outlet trialing Halal-only branches! Obviously the fact the slaughter of the animals is less humane isn't an issue then

I won't be eating in any of their filthy outlets again - Halal only or not.

I still love their chicken coated in 11 secret herbs and spices. Nom nom nom.

I'd have to be on the verge of starvation before I even contemplated KFC. I'd sooner go to Macca's or Burger King (Hungry Jack's over here). Why? I cannot stand their spice mix and, while I will concede this may be urban legend, they have allegedly served up rat as chicken. Though I guess in the context of this thread that might not be a bad thing

Its a difficult call IMO.

Halal meat requires the animal to bleed to death (albeit quite quickly), however it also calls for the animal to be healthy befoe death, so truely Halal meat would, therefore, probably exclude intensive and cruel farming methods to avoid hypocricy on a monumental scale.

"conventional" slaughter involves what should be a quicker stunning of the animal, however we've all seen the cruelty that occurs by virtue of battery and other intensive livestock management processes.

So, what should be a better quality of life, but a more prolonged death, or a crap quality of life and what should be a quick and painless death.

Although in reality I suspect that what we have is a crap quality of life that just ticks the Halal boxes with some convenient interpretation of the rules, followed by being strung up and having their throats cut till they bleed out as opposed to an acknowledged crap quality of life followed by a "not always as quick as its supposed to be" death.

In either case, it is pretty much unnaceptable in a supposedly humane society, and we now buy locally farm reared "free range" meat where at all possible, and only a weakness of will prevents me from giving up meat altogether.

But hey, at least I know I'm a hypocrite

Surely all the take-away chains use the same type of chicken - the cruel, dirty kind?

Just as the cheap crap chicken you get in supermarkets is produced the same way. It's cheap for a reason.

Hello again choclate

If the halal slaughter is conducted in the right manner then possibly should taste different as I’m no chef but its one I would love to try. Before slaughtering an animal we must make sure its fit for slaughter and with out causing any stress im not scientist but from what I read animals release a chemical from there brain when they get stressed. And that’s why I stress that It should be done in the right manner.
Ive been asking a few people at work and according to my accountant at work he is a big steak eater and the one he buys from a normal butchers is a lot bloody and than the one he buys from the halal butchers. By the way his catholic before anyone says anything lol

I agree mate, its not that I don't like it, or want to give it up, its just that I have issues with the way in which most meat on sale is "produced".

Then, as they'd say over here, "Good on yer!". In the cold light of day we farm animals for our consumption instead of hunting them and the better we treat those animals the closer we get to a natural food source. Less force-fed chemicals etc and let's face it, a happy chicken is a tasty chicken
