Rattle can satin black on my bonnet insulation. Was looking washed out. Removed it, broke all the push clips so bought some 30mm ones that fit Land Rover's as you got 10 for 2.99 delivered and not two for £5 which the OE Subaru ones are!! Also sprayed the other side of it with water repellent. So utvdoesit soak up koalo of water when I snow fiam and wash the car.

wasn't draughty at all , well , nowhere near as bad as having the window down. But definitely wont be using them on long drives thats for sure.

On average I spent £25 more on every fill up than the Cupra!
Quick video I made here, wish we'd had more than two cameras
Great video - thanks for sharing Lee - I was up there this summer in the Legacy - 4 adults and a medium dog on board - so not really able to enjoy the open roads like I would have done on my own
Takes me back though...

Decided to sell what's it worth?
Hi all. Decided to sell, can you give me an indication of its worth please?
2008 UK STI - 70,000 miles
Not so common dark grey with Black complimenting mirrors, scoop, roof, vents and spoiler.
Carbon spoiler, PU splitter and ABW arches
XXR 550 18”
R888 Toyo tyres (need replacing soon)
Pole Position Full forged 2.5
MD321V twin scroll with RCM Equal Length headers (wrapped)
Helix Twin plate clutch
Haywood and Scott exhaust
800cc injectors, and 340 fuel pump
Cylinder heads skimmed and replacement RCM head gaskets fitted in July this year.
Usual switchable maps, only running around 1.6 bar producing around 450bhp, should be tweaked soon to around 1.75 bar circa 500bhp - put it off due to weather/road conditions.
MOT May 2019
Registration obviously not included.
Extensive service history.
Car was taken to a local Subaru specialist 2 years ago for suspect head gasket failure (usual issues). Car was put back on the road but the owner lost interest so I bought it with the ABW arches fitted and had the Pole Position engine fitted alongside with the Turbo, Headers, Clutch, Wheels and much more.
The intention is to continue developing the car, but timing isn’t great, so I either park the car up and develop it in the future when I have free time and more resources (likely next year), or it moves onto the new owner.

I think still prefer the gold but that might be due to having this colour on mine now and being a bit bored with it on a hatch lol ,,, the wheels still look really nice though so don't think the colour would matter to much lol

Oh I'm the same. I liked the gold , and the wheels themselves were only a year old and spotless. Was a shame to "refurb" without reason to (hope i haven't scudded myself now and stay well away from kerbs)
But after 2 years on gold Rotas i just fancied a change and have always wanted bronze on it.

the gold did make them stand out more
Hi mate, what wheels are they .. looking at something 18" (Rota's etc ) with non fussy design, few spokes to clean etc. as my 330S wheels have the dreaded lacquer bubbling ( 2nd set after warranty change ) and either need a refurb or replacing.
Cheers

Mine were droped off Thursday afternoon and collected on Monday. Striped, powder coated , tyres refitted and ballance, £200. They were spotless , year old wheels. Not sure if that mattered.
Scooby Regular
shame your not closer to me as my place charges £50 to powder coat all 4 wheels as long as you get the rest done yourself but if there in good condition you can go strait over the top of whats there ,, most of the blasters iv found charge around £50 ,,,, but £200 is still a good price for a all in service
