All joking aside, ive not fitted one to a classic yet but if someone wanted one fitted to a newage.

As a demonstration i would do a vent fitting live at an SIDC show.

How much pressure??

Well its gotta be worth a laugh mate.

Got my intercooler back from the paintshop today, fitted it up and offered up the bumper too. Gotta have the bumper re done as we're not quite happy with the colour, but either way i cant fit it until the towing eye turns up.

Heres my new matt finish gunmetal APS core

Well not much of an update,

Remember the bespoke hose i wanted made? Well a superfast turn around from my buddy ensured it turned up today. So i set about fitting my intake filter.I had it made in 4 ply so is very rigid and has no chance of collapsing under boost.

Here you can see the 2 filters together the APS (left) and the AEM dryflow (right)

Now you can see how limited you are for space trying to get the APS to fit alongside the FMIC charge pipe.

And the reasons i didnt like the APS, internally it has no strengthening cage, where as the AEM does and it also has a bellmouth to aid flow (You cant see this bit im afraid)

I cut a small piece of 3.5" ally tube to couple the filter to the hose.

Here you can see the new filter tucked out of the way in the big cavity behind the foglight port.

Now cant wait to get my bumper bolted up

Fitted up the bumper this morning, it needs polishing and its new decals applied.

Im really pleased with the finished article, also the eagle eyed amongst you will notice some new graphics not previously fitted.

Hope you like it

Yeah buddy, the engine is finally gonna get built once i order my clutch next week.
Its been tough saving cash for the last few items but that is the last big bit of the jigsaw for me.

Have you seen the price of Exedy hyper twin plate clutchs recently?

Im just waiting for my coilovers to arrive. Theyre being made by KW in Germany. Once theyre on i think i'll be close on the handling front. Zak has a few other trick to do adjustment wise on my chassis. (Top secret lol)

I have a whiteline diff locking kit on the rear of mine, i dont think it makes masses of difference but every little helps ya know
