Advice Please!
Twas the 2002 SIDC birthday bash. They closed the Ramsey to mountain-top (TT circuit) road for our "private" use, which was VERY nice
.
Had the (MPG) video looping for around 4 hours at max brightness on a set of batteries - which is excellent.
As for size, try holding it in your hands (fnarr, fnarr). The NC10 does feel about right, even though the screen resolution isn't massive. I also have a 13.5" VAIO, which seems much bigger even though it isn't much heavier. Once you are into 15inch and 17inch you do start to need a desk to rest it on.
But choose soon, otherwise Apple will be bringing out their tablet, and all the ***** will be back up in the air

Sorry, but I really did fnarr fnarr out loud at that!
Anyway...........I'm going to go to John Lewis on Thursday and feel it in real life. I've also got £30 in JL vultures to use up, so that would bring the price down even more!

I shall also look at the Presario Dedrater recommended.

Will Scoobynet be any quicker on the NC10? Farkin' 'ell!!!

Right. Went to John Lewis this morning and they didn't have any NC10s left in stock!

On the upside...........they're 'only' £309 in store as opposed to £322 online.
Anyway, they've got some more coming in on Monday. It also gave me a chance to look at the proper laptops, and quite honestly, 10" is going to be big enough for me (fnarr fnarr!). The 15" were mahoosive and my lap's not that big.............if they were called 'arsetops', It wouldn't be a problem!
I nipped down to Comet to have a look at one in real life, and it says they can't be used for documents. Why?
