The only reason Liverpool made top was because they played more games than anyone else sorry to say, you wont be getting more than 3rd this year in anything

Nope, it has been happening all season, and even been mentioned on Sky Sports by the commentators.

But don't let the facts get in the way of your premature gloating

4 points in front and 1 game in hand, chelsea will win today, put the scousers in their place

Tony
hate to mention this but its 4 teams again for the cl, new rules means finishing third you dont even need to qualify

sorry thats bull. Living within 10 miles of OT and working within 1 mile of OT it is one of the best served grounds for traffic. Doesnt matter which road you take (of which there are many) but you will still get to where your going. Plenty of free parking as well. Go on, admit it, youve never been have you to see a game there????

Bitter? it doesnt bother me, i just love taking the p155 out of liverpool fans
Basically a liverpool fan (and quite rightly) stated not long back that liverpool are in exactly the same form they were last year and the year before that, and in that form they wont win anything of worth in english football, ie FA Cup, League etc, and the only reason they are where they are now is that the top 3 teams (as liverpool isnt classed as a top 3 team member ) have not performed as well as they have done this season.
You will get 3rd, thats all unfortunately

how do you work the form bit out

the end of the day the prem is tougher than ever, lfc downfall has been teams playing 11 men behind the ball at Anfield (probably because they know they wont win), and yes fair enough we havent been able to break them down which is a downfall.

btw must be in better form than last year as we are higher up the table having lost the least in the league

Utd will should still win the league but we will be closer again wich is an improvement

Oh whats that??? he did play??? ohhh thats right he was in Aurelio's pocket

Tevez and Park was the only ones who turned up today for utd

i dont argue that it is one of the best grounds for traffic flow but when you have 76,000 (nearly double "most" grounds) pouring out after it doesnt matter it will and does get very bad

i live 2 miles away and i walk most of the way, if i didnt it would take me over a hour to get home if i drove home! as most of the traffic goes back towards salford it is hard to fit all the cars over one bridge

as for the result, we got twatted, end of still.... we could be in a worse position

what makes me laugh is it was so out the blue the stuffin we got even the liverpoo fans didnt expect it, how many put bets on for their team to win by 4-1?

yeah,didnt think so.

but hey,you gotta lose some and id rather Utd lost that match where the only thing that matters in it was pride, than lose the champions league games we have left or the final`s we`ll get to

I love liverpoo fans false hope, but i suppose you gotta have something to cling onto

I do find you very funny you know the mighty Rafa is doing the same thing, "we will win our next 9 games etc etc etc" so when you lose your next 3 in a row, dont come crying back here
We lost 1 game, WOW, amazing, Stevie G does another "dive" in the box for a dodgy pen, is that not his 2nd this week? and no, we didnt play our best, but we can afford to lose the odd game, still when your in 3rd later this afternoon, just look back and think of what you could have won this season and didnt (ie nothing )

Well done Liverpool, took your chances, whereas United didn't, probably the sloppiest game i've seen from United all season some of the stray passes were woeful, deserved to lose.

I expected to be gutted but I'm not, the scoreline rather embarrasses United and rightly so, yeah LFC scored 4, 3 of them donated by Uniteds lazy play. I'll put it up there with the 4-1 beating QPR gave us in 92, nothing more nothing less.

On the upside, and it's a big upside, Rafa's head has swollen to the size of a small country, and hopefully he will be offered that new contract he craves and he'll sign, another 5 years without the Premiwership for LFC, Good times

See every cloud has a silver lining.

And if anyone needed reminding Ciddy had the same glow of euphoria last season after doing the double over us and they won exactly what LFC will be winning this season, F*ck All.

losing the plot like your manager is. hear he refused to give inteviews with SKY after the match cos he lost and moaned about the early KO but was willing to take the 500k early ko from SKY. classless old fool.

unlike city, we're still in the CL, didn't you notice that ? we're no1 ranked in CL and we'll dump you out of that when we draw you this year.

MANCHESTER United used text messages to inform fleeing supporters of Saturday's defeat by Liverpool as thousands left Old Trafford early and caught the train back to London.

It is the first time the club has used its new £20 a month subscription service which also includes a selection of talking points, a football 'word of the day' and the names of key players from both teams.

Julian Cook, a season ticket holder from Primrose Hill, said: "How ghastly. Does that mean that
Liverpool win the big cup? Or is it just the league thingy?

"As long as it wasn't the big European thingymeebob because I've arranged to meet up with some friends in Rome in May and do a bit of shopping."

As the final whistle blew on Saturday only three United fans remained in the ground after their wheelchair helpers gave up and headed to the car park.

Liverpoool manager Rafa Benitez said: "At first I theenk Fergie do this deliberate as some kind of spooky mind game in latest attempt to drive me insane. Skwaad"

"But then I realise that United fans are very busy peoples with Blackberry gadget things who not have time to see their team lose. Skwaad"

Meanwhile Man Utd manager Sir Alex Ferguson was banned from giving post-match television interviews after producers decided that the rapidly changing colours of his incandesecent nose might trigger thousands of epileptic fits.

Speaking off-camera he said: "I felt we were better than Liverpool, although the score doesn't reflect that. By the way did ye know that Ho Chi Minh City is just outside of Knutsford, although the Ordnance Survey map doesn't reflect that."

To be fair, everytime Ive been to Old Trafford Ive stayed for the full 90 minutes, no excuses, whether it be for a United game or an England game and never had trouble getting out, back to the car and driving away

I maintain the point that I've heard it several times when watching Utd on SS this season. I'm trying to rememebr which particular matches, but it currently deludes me. Martin Tyler and Andy Gray were discussing it.

I took your point onboard regarding it happening at S****hope too but thats probably one of the worst grounds Ive ever had to try and get away from (and too), other than Rushden and Diamonds, now that is bad. Man United has always been easy to get away from IMO

S****horpe is bad. Luckily when I've been to see them recently (well within last 2/3 seasons), I've either walked to the stadium (90 min walk) or a mate has driven. It's terrible in that its a thin 1 lane road in/out and it hits the small then big roundabouts where the bloody Tesco/B&Q est. is. Really bad on a home match even when you're shopping etc
