I don't know if you've made your mind up yet James, but an Xbox Elite can be had from LittlewoodsDirect for £179.
At the checkout the reduction in VAT is applied which pretty much covers the postage.
Add in the code xx710 for an extra 10% discount and the total including delivery is £161.63.

Fair enough. My Wii never gets used these days Found that once the initial novelty has worn off, it's actually a pretty simplistic machine with very few titles actually worth playing.
