My dad's had an email saying "Good news, you're only 4-7 weeks away from enjoying Sky+HD". I'm still trying to get him to come to his senses and the wait is certainly giving him time to think if he actually 'needs' it.
What's the number you phone to cancel your registration?

I got fed up of waiting and cancelled my HD order today, i have been waiting for 3 weeks already and my account said it was another 2 months to wait. Its not something that will be life changing so i`ll wait now until its either a free box or zero subscription cost which will happen at some point.
Here is the number i cancelled on ...... 08442 411 333

Just had HD installed. Picture is superb on my Panny PZ80. Just gutted the communal dish means I have limited plus features. Anybody know a way round this? Is it a case of a new dish?!

Had mine installed on thursday.
I was surprised when 3 vans turned up. Took them 30 minutes to sort out the safety ropes & harnesses, then 1 bloke went up a step ladder to change the dish.
Took them about 20 minutes to finish the install.

Anybody give me an idea on this? Had HD installed and due to having a communal dish in the flats I only have one feed giving me limited plus features on the Sky box. I've done a bit of snooping and the floor above has the splitter box from the dish. The dish feeds 6 flats and the splitter has 8 ports so 2 are free.
I want to run a second cable to my flat to give me the full HD plus capabilities. Does anybody have an idea how much I would be looking at to have this installed between the floors?

They sent me a load of gumph at the weekend....
Still trying to actally work out the cost lol...
never seen such a convolouted load of terms and conditions grrr
dosent actually specify what the additional cost is for the content...
and they dont mention that it will cost me another £25!!!!! not to have the phone line connected, despite paying it 2 years ago!!!!
so the £30 install fee bumps up to £55, and then its a bump to sky movies for a year, another £8 pcm....
no mention of the HD tarrif, or the multiroom tarrif,

It is all there online, £10 p/m HD, £10p/m multiroom
Latest deal is good if you want movies, but I don't so its most cost effective to pay for the box, but I'm thinking of bundling broadband and Talk together, theres some deals there thats beating my current BBprovider

you pay a fixed fee £25 and it negates the box connnected to a landline for 12 months part of the contract
Ideal for me as the phone is no where near the box. However i object to paying for this again...

if its your first 12months you'll have to keep it plugged in, if not sky will do random checks. If it fails a few times they'll send you a polite reminder to plug it in or pay full price of a hd box
