What testing has been done?
Which cars are running this kit?
What is your background?

Yes you are right, i'm selling them. All made in Taiwan. The company makes FIA approve brake systems, racing seats, seatbelts... . Primarily they selling stuff to Japan. They call himself wind racing parts. They were represented in 2008 SEMA to.
with feedback stuff i mean that you can see who have bought from me and ask from them is these rails and fittings are good.

my background is this much that, my cars i build myself
i was looking for these rails for myself, so i found, now selling others who looking them to. there is no much sellers who selling them.

hi i have been in contact with Aare from estonia o ebay a few times and his communication is very good.
i am awaiting the vers 3-4 kits he does i will post more when i get them about qualitiy etc. but i can tell you one of the smacs lads has fitted a set to his modded 2.5 md321t turbo`d vers5 sti type r and he has had it mapped by jgm and has encountered no probs todate with higher fuel press reg fitted etc. so i am willing to give them a go, i would have gone for cdf`s reputation of quality bt i cannot be bothered to wait sorry cdf. anyways we shall see shortly rgds Al.

almost forgot to mention Carl davey does/did do similar kits not sure if he still does but his stuff is usually top quality also!

I've seen a set of Carl Davey rails and they are 1'st class. I would not be going anywhere else if I was going down that route.

I will be getting a set of billet rails from Carl when funds allow, but for now I have a set of converted rails.
(Also bought from Carl although I believe they came from MEF)

Its the little things and the attention to detail I like, even though you dont see it. They have inserts etc so that no heat is transferred to the rails, not to mention the superb finish quality.
And earls fitting too, which are very nice.
You get what you pay for generally.

the e bay ones look good and are a good price but not tested.
mef,s deal is also good.
or wait and see what df come up with?
is it worth the gamble getting the ebay ones?

Remember too that you will have to purchase 3m of -6 200 hose at £25/m for the good stuff or maybe less for some inferior quality hose! (not included with the ebay kit)

-6AN is the thread size which is actually 9/16"UNF. The thread or "AN" size determines the size of the associated pipe. For instance the thin stuff that's used on brake lines is referred to as -3, the fuel line stuff is -6 which is about 8.7mm bore. The pipe can be either stainless re-inforced nitrile rubber which Goodridge label as "200" hose or the thinner stuff which has the PTFE liner and no rubber called "600" hose (this is whats used on brakes etc) and uses a brass olive inside the fittings. You have to specify the correct fittings for each type of hose. I normally supply 200 style hose for the fuel lines around the engine although I always use 600 hose inside the car so as it doesn't leak fuel fumes (which the rubber hose can) The 600 type hose is much thinner externally and lighter, also less expensive, as are the associated fittings.

Hope this helps,

Martin
