Guess what did on Valentines Day!
i take it the knot has now been tied or is it due in the new year ?
for a minute then, Valentines day isn't in December...everyone know's it's August

BTW, since a few people are telling engagement stories - here's mine: I took Beth to the beach for a walk. I'd planned to do a picnic, but it didn't quite happen 'cos it was p*ssing down and freezing cold. Anyway, we're walking along, and Beth is looking for shells, and I write 'MARRY ME' in the sand with a big stick. She looks around, sees it, and starts laughing.
Being April 1st, she assumed I was just messing around.
Only after I'd got down on one, and then both knees, presented a cluster of large lumps of compressed carbon attached to a circular piece of precious metal, did she realise I wasn't being silly, and finally said "yes". It was at that point that the line of a massive kite that a bloke was flying near us swung round in the strong wind and knocked us both off our feet!!!
It was a memorable day.
