Sorry I couldn't stick around guys but I had important things to do. Steve, I really wasn't trying to be 'Dyney' I was just having a bad brain-fart day, you were speaking to me so when you mentioned about the email and I looked blank that would be the reason

I was going to pop into the Woolpack but after I turned up there and every single one of you were driving classic shape Scoobs and I was in my new shape I thought I wouldn't be welcome as a newbie. Perhaps I should've hung around a little longer.

Anyway, I'll make the next one and hang around a little longer.

don't worry about the new shape thing. hell i've got MY01 wheels on mine, as I think you know (you were the back MY01 that pulled up next to my dirty wagon?)

You should have come in the pub, it was a total laff, great food and even better company.

definitley get down to the next meet, or at least the big bolney jap performance meet on march 16th

To let you all know I now have the car back and I can keep up with Maffa, Does that mean I've got 300BHP aswell Thanks for the lift mate.
Mike Rivett (of Rivett Auto's 01306 628009 (Sussex boys take note)) has done an awesome job in getting the car back to me in less than a week and I was well impressed when he said he could pick the car up the afternoon I phoned him!!! He did try to make the meet but missed us at the services by 5 mins Next time Mike. (Oh, and can I have a bigger Discount on the clutch now!!!!!)

thanks mate. Dyney mailed me a link to someone selling a brand new alloy bonnet for not a lot of cash, so these meets do help out!

oi! enough of the old comments! Glad to hear you have the car back.

 

Unfortunately i never made it to the meet cos my clutch blew up at 9am that morning, all in all it sounds like i missed out as everyone seems to have a good time, Instead i just sat at home sulking about the fact my clutch blew up after only having the car a few weeks, Just my luck, Is it true imprezas eat clutches or was i just unlucky as i hadnt driven it that hard i didnt think?

Sorry to hear about the clutch. Is it being sorted by the dealer you bought it from or have you got to sort it yourself?

luckily the bill is being picked up by the dealeer i bought it from, i cant wait to get it back, they gave me a 1ltr nissan micra as a courtesy car!!! shouldnt complain i spose it was free after all

 

Oi!!! Nofink' wrong with one litre Micras I've just bought one as a run-around to keep the miles off the scooby.
Though it is a bit slow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

one litre micras as a rule may be ok, but this one was c*^p, it handled really badly and felt like it was going to make me seasick it rocked so much going round corners!!

 

well i finally got the car back but it wassunday afternoon so missed the meet

I wondered why topcat was trying to phone me, didnt realise he was coming down or i'd have popped round to the pub (its almost walking distance from my house!) but at the time i was chasing an escaped dog grrrrrrr

I saw gary 'starship imprezza' leaving burgess hill on monday night, dunno if you recognised me mate as we went round the shell hickstead roundabout...

 

Still yet to see ya Pete, I'm sure we'll pass each other at some point. Buggers Hole ain't that big after all!
