Afternoon All.

I would like to start with an apolagy to Kevin. I am the one who created the idea of a group buy in the very begining. I approached Kevin and he was happy to go ahead and start a group initially gaining interest first. I would like to point out that Kevin has not involvment with delays or mix ups that have occurred. I am the one to blame and point the finger at. Kevin you did your best to ensure that this group went smoothly, and you did your best with handling any enquiries from any members.

I know very well that the supplier has supplied poorly fitment mirrors. If I had been aware of this from the very begining of the poor fitment I would never had put you fellow members through this. The supplier has been informed and has been told which areas need focusing on to make sure the mirrors are of correct fitment.

I would like to apolagise for my poor behaviour and my wrongly used attitude towards the members of this forum. After having read through the whol thread..I can only say I am deeply ashamed of my verbal attitude and the way I went about things. I would like to apolagise about the delays the mix ups and the poor fitment mirrors that were sold. I have now refunded everyone fully and the members who asked for their mirrors have been shipped or recieved already.

I am a fellow subaru impreza enthusiast and have been for as long as I can remember. I have been a long term member on here and regret to have created this enviroment and tension between the members and me, I hope you guys can forgive me. It was never my intention for things to get this bad, with the added new years and christmas break, thing just got on top of me. Apolagies to all members who have been part of this group buy or have tried atleast to add input to help others. I hope we can draw a line under this and move on, I have certainly learned a few lessons on the way. Again apolagies to all members.

Got my mirrors today, all in all they are very good, (all be it they are not plug and play) to coin a phrase, but with a small amount of re-engineering they will do the job for me.

think i wish id done a group buy with them but you live and learn .

 

As long as you don't get too disheartened, like I said earlier there's not enough people willing to put the effort in so it's a shame that it goes wrong when someone does.

20/20 hindsight is great, I just wish my optician could give me some glasses to make it work

all sorted and sent mate , via royal mail , air mail recorded and insured for the £100.00 have tracking numbers they did say you can only track them up to where they leave the uk but !!! they have been known to work outside the uk .

as i said in the pm i will contact haroon see what happened with your mirrors i allso said i checked the boxes and they where so tightley wrapped i didnt open them so i saw there was two mirrors in there etc etc .

pm'd harry making aware you have a problem ! sort it out with him he not having you have ago at me when it's not my fault , i evan sent them off my own back helping you to get them wish i hadent of bothered now , and have you every thought it might be a set thats allready been returned and not checked !!!!! .

 

I received my set today, they was some minor scraches on them but nothing serious.

 

Those are not my mirrors, there is no way I would have them sent out like that, NO WAY! Something aint right here at all.

 

Today was the first time i've driven the car since fitting the mirrors, and the glass fell out of one! They're only held in with sicky back sponge, beware!
Luckely it happend as i pulled into works carpark, so didn't loose/damage it.
