It should be noted that certain tactics were attempted before this, such as threats to report users to their employers etc. Distasteful, perhaps... but what was a desperate web:clown: to do when his pride was dented so?
oik
i was threatened with "reporting you to your network administrator" once, which had no real effect because i was posting from the carwash network that i bloody setup myself
Thats because you where a "late starter" i had 2 years under my belt before you arrived !
Admit it.... if all the none technical forums closed you would be gone. Its just a extension to your living room . You enjoy been part of the "comedy set" here. And i dont mind. but why others thought the likes of PSL and Moses where not acceptable and you are is madness. thats not saying you are not funny etc .Its just how you forced yourself to be "liked" and "in"
I agree, that is quite usefull and i presume it has worked to good effect with no complaints?
usually is not abused but has been on occasion
one of my members of staff made an account and said "hello robin" and was banned by unclebuck and his band of merry men because they thought he was nacro
upon him making a new account and trying to complain in policy, webclown deleted that one as well

It has and it does. It takes two people to complete the process which on some occasions is a pain as the spam post may not been seen for a while by another member with banning ability, but on the whole it does the job

How so I've met Swiss, he is as daft in the real, as he is on the board. What you see is what you get. I like him.
I also liked PSL, very much. Moses, nice guy but I could never understand his posts

So you are a sprinter and I am the long distance runner then
Not true about the technical forums though buddy. If you look through the various forums, you will see that I have posted and joined in on many a topic, not just NSR etc. (though the Hutch is an exception )
I enjoy the comical value on here, yes and I enjoy making some people laugh on here. Thanks for not minding
But as to 'forcing' myself on anyone, well you seem to have the better of me on that in your posts over the years

You quoted me, therefore in my opinion you were talking to me. Regardless, i wont stand for any Xenophobic postings either way so if you want to speak ill of my colleagues out of turn then accept that we could quite easily take our ball in.
I am happy to discuss these topics openly and frankly in order to gauge the valued members opinions, even at this time of night when i should be in bed with my wife. However, rest assured that if things start turning childish then I will just revert back to working behind the scenes as before and pretty much do what I feel needs doing without your input. I am not here to take unjustified abuse and I assure you i wont take any more than twice from any one person, on here or otherwise.
Maybe you do need to go to bed. Your very very touchy , stop acting like a spoilt child, "Xenophobic" my *** ! You need to wake up and start dealing with more serious racist posts like the ones i Pm'd about. where your team allow racist remarks about Muslims etc to be made.
If you have never heard people joke about Yanks having little History or The world getting a bit fkkd off with Yanks wanting to rule and control the world?
then you have been living under a bed for years.
This is a forum for men, and a few birds and by all accounts now a Trannie !
If my posts upset you then IB have chosen the wrong guy for the job.
...Coincidence? Or the very people that Mr De Banke installed this system to remove from his forum in the first place?...
Simon installed the system as an alternative to moderating (probably because several who did a lot had left). Perhaps a less autocratic admin style and more empowered moderators would have been the correct choice?

I just learnt to turn my monitor upside down to try and understand what Moses wrote ! But come on...... was he rude? He was a great guy who always wished people and their family well. That been good mannered
As for PSL.......... i still think he is a very senior admin member.

I agreed with you, apart from your comments about Swiss.
I got on great with PSL and Moses and liked them, a lot. Never thought about turning the thing upside down

It helps that he's from Wallsend though. He gets a round in too, which helps.
IMO, more active moderators are required. I mentioned this in another thread, and Simon replied that 15 mods had logged on that day. Erm so they logged on, did they post anything? No offence to any of the mod team, but the only ones seemingly actively contributing are Sal and Puffy.
With regards to the poll, its becoming clear to me that for a lot of the problems for which I blamed IB: the blame lay elsewhere...
To be honest its too short a period and Stu must have technical stuff to do as well as form a new "team"
all thats happening now is a bit of "stress relief" after a very tense few years >where many believed they had been robbed (£ as well as time in forming the forum)
check back in 6 months would be a better time to see "what's what "
