Is it going to be £330 no matter how many people drop out? I've just had a quick look round and you're right, all the prices seem to have gone up. Don't need mine too quickly but would like to get on with making some sort of roof mount soon and I can't really do that until I've got the unit to measure up.

il have a think

surly if we could have just gone ahead and bought them a while ago this wouldnt have happened?

£50 is a lot for a GB price to hike up Despite you said the supplier had TONS in stock at the time

Temple tuning are doin them at £340 but are ot of stock atm

He did have stock.. But the currency change was creeping up and he was watching it. So i dont think he would of sold any because of the price increase.. Its not the suppliers fault the hike in the yen to pound has gone stupid. Alot of traders on my other forum are struggling, even car importers have started to buy from UK stock as cars are going to work out extremely expensive..... Vicks, temple tunings price will be going up also....

I wouldnt risk it.. In fact i seriously doubt youll get it as im sure they dont carry there stock.. But order it when the buyer does...

Regarding the currency...

This was taken off a thread on another site...

The £ is a total joke now!

£1 = Y135
£1 = $1.45

No wonder people are going bust etc...

Oh and APEXi in all their wisdom have increased all prices AGAIN!!!

No doubt they are still wondering why they are close to liquidation!

So it looks like its hitting everyone hard..

I dont mind waiting (as im not planning on getting mapped till March / April next year)
Still willing to persue the Flat4 option and hope the guy can deliver on both price and timescale delivered

Im sorry ScoobtypeR but when someone sets up a GB (through a friend) and tells us all that they have loads of stock I would have thought we would have got the item close to what they offered, not £50 more than quoted, as they can see the demand and hold back stock , If they did sell out it must have been at £350 per unit as advertised on their website (or on another group buy that we were not aware of), if not I think its a wee bit s-h-i-t-e to offer a price and then renaige as the exchange rates change just to get more profit, if they did have the stock that they claimed. (I may be wrong though but I dont think so) As I posted before im willing to go up to £300 , if we cant reach that price I will just wait untill the exchange rates stabalises

Not meaning to be cheeky

Graeme

I e-mailed Flat4 earlier to check stock and the price, just had a reply saying they have been back-ordered for months (the black ones that is, don't know about silver) and they are not expecting any until early next year, they didn't confirm price so that will probably change when the new stock comes in.
Personally I can't wait that long.
Have we any definate date from the original supplier?

Steve

I need one and its still not a bad price.

So all who still want one please let me know as i still need one.

I have sent him a p.m so will reply once i get one.
