I bought my car at 22. Its a UK MY96 and it cost £1200 to insure.(my track record was'nt too good either). 2 years on and I'm looking to change the car, possibly for a WRX, for the extra power/spec etc. I often wish that I had splashed out on the WRX and increased insurance in the first place........
Whichever you choose I'm sure you'll enjoy it !!!

I've taken into account the servicing but I know a very reputable garage near me who say it won't be a problem, ok it's not a subaru garage but there still very good, I know the car may not be worth what I paid for it when I sell it but I am planning on keeping it for a few years and doing lots of mods. I know my insurance is going to be very high, I'm 21 and have a ban and 4 points on my licence, best quote so far £2500 Fully comp , I'll pay it though if I can't get it any lower.I can see your point in how a uk car may be a better buy for me but I've made my mind up and I'll be going for a WRX, thanks for your opinion though
