Burnt to top of the liner and a hole in the head - pistons and rods and crank, looked like new - sold them to Daz-Davies for his project. There was a thread on 22b about the damage i did.

New engine has had much more attention to strenght and head work, so hoping for more power. Bigger turbo is twin scroll so should spool the same as last years but give more grunt. Running Drive By Wire with full ALS, so should get off the line a bit better too.

will have a look for the thread. you should turn the old heads into coffee tables

twin scroll on a turbo that big should be interesting and with als too can't wait to see it in action.

I'd change the adaptor if I were you. You want the probe in the gallery so that the oil flows over it. Not in a dead end like it is. That'll be in a little pocket of air so you won't get a true reading...

Just a thought like.

Apart from that it looks gorgeous!
Just to clarify the oil temp probe.
The probe is approximately 2" long unfortunately and if fitted in that gallery as intended, would restrict the flow of oil quite severely due to the probes diameter, so an adapter was machined to allow the sender to sit inside that hole by just under 15mm. The reason for this is because there is another gallery approximately 15mm below the surface and horizontal to the main one. In terms of reading oil temp, there is adequate room for oil to flow around all the probe inside the adaptor to ensure that it only reads oil temp and not (including) the temp of the adapter itself.

Brake Balance - I had to remove the servo, to allow space for the turbo - so im using a pedal box fitted with two master cylinders which all fits under the dash (came from the gobstopper as they uprated to a different one this year) - also as running Full ALS servo not much use.

Sy.

The cameras are pretty neat. If you don't tell anyone they're there, they never seem to notice them!
It's much like the rest of the car, it's not "in your face", but an Alladdins cave of goodies!

No that was a lie - with sundry items and oil and filter it came to £412.56 - bit p~ssed off about that - they quoted £399 in the exchange and mart

They also hit me for £15 for a secondhand Oil Pump
