Right guys I've sent the email off to the lady that's in charge of the stands and confirmed our place for the shootout, now we have our fifteen cars, the arrangements for the convoy up there will be discussed at the meet on THURSDAY 22ND,,, i have also said in my email that there maybe a few late listings so i have covered everything,,,,DEBS x

 

i'll try make this meet since im working at home,this week because of my test

Going to get some Bacon and Eggs from Makro for after we have set up , then just let folk , either bring there own stuff, or buy from the vans...

 

Why would members have to buy their own at an event?

To be honest scott i think this should be discussed at the meet with things as they are at the moment, dont you....

 

we know it needs to be discussed at the meet which is why i pm'd the response instead of opening it up on here.

it doesnt matter forget we mentioned anything, scott thought he was helping, we were going to buy the bacon and eggs and supply from us out of our pocket, after spending so much at rising sun to save cash...

Right just had confirmation from Pam that's sorts the stand area, and we are all set to go on the day, caravan, gazebo, she is going to send me the documents in the post regarding do's and dont's for the day, the tickets and a couple extra just in case some people add to the list at a later date,,,full update at the meet,,,cheers Debs x

Didn't mean if your not taking Clinic car then your towing caravan, meant we need to sort out how were getting it up there,,,

I know there's only certain folk who can tow the caravan (towbar fitted) to meets n stuff and it is really appreciated when they do, but didn't want to leave it while last minute , and then decide who's taking it..

As for the food i was just going to get some Eggs and Bacon from Macro,as it's only a one day event , and the burgers don't seem to get all eaten , ie Blyton ,Nostell...
But from the response i got , as a club we are prepared to provide the full mashings ,no matter how small the event,,,,,
I'm not fussed take fillet steak for me...

Should of maybe asked a few folk there views on the egg and bacon thing before posting , i dont know...

Anyway **** it not getting irrate (spelling, Sticky,Frosty) over food,lifes too short...

Like i say just didn't want you's thinkin that all i was after was you's to pull caravan , just wanted to see what our options were...

 

Good idea about the bacon and eggs save some brass and wasting money on food that some people don't like . Because we cannot cater for everyones taste .It would cost a fortune..and so much was thrown away on sunday..

And for the caravan.. I think bullitt rich is taking it up or he voluntered his lass to anyway.

I've spoken to Lynds tonight about it, sorry to say but we have no car to pull it, her dad is using the Volvo full time now so we won't be able to use it.

 

i would pull it with the scoob as its got a towbar but im not sure im allowed on this new licence i dont think,i will find out and let u know

 

Well just tell your lass to leave her car with her dad and she can use the volvo
some people are so selfish does he not no its for the W.Y.I.O.C..

PMSL bad isn't it I think Lynds wouldn't like that idea, last time her dad used her car he scratch two of her alloys. Its one of those things unfortunately, bad timing.

 

Don't worry about it i think stu is going to pull it when he passes his trailer test he has a week to sort it...

Right i have had confirmation that the tickets are on the way for sso, so who is going to pick them up from here....

 

My place maybe up for grabs for Scooby Shoot-Out...

I have been on line and have applied for a ticket for the Leeds game at Wembley..I find out if i've got one by Tuesday....

If i don't get a ticket for Wembley I will be going to SSO but leaving at about 1 ish to go watch the match on telly.......
