New K-Sport Brake Kit Group buy
So is everyone else having them professionally fitted?

Very easy to fit, took me about an hour'n'half on my own.
To anyone having douts about these brakes trust me they are awesome. Ive had them fitted for a couple of months now and only it was only yesterday that i
really put them to the test. Two track sessions at Japfest with hard use and everytime i called upon them they were there!
Surely for the money there cant be a better Brake kit on the market.

If I were to go for the 6 pot 308mm kit (I have 16inch) wheels. Would it offer comparable stopping power to the AP 308mm kit? Or, am I better off waiting till I have larger wheels that can accomodate the bigger discs/or just saving up for APs.
Given what I can recoup for selling the OEM 4 pots this might be quite a good deal for moi, but I don't want half measures, I want brakes in the AP league!
Oh, anyone know whether the 308mm kit will fit behind 16inch Speedline ST2 alloys???

Any large brake kit should ideally be fitted by a pro who can take the correct measurements to minimise run out. The kits are a doddle to fit otherwise, you just wont be able to measure run out. I want to minimise problems further down the road and this involves having the kit fitted properly.
Im just covering my back and making people aware that to do the job right requires more work that might first appear, although in practice people do just chuck them on and generally dont have a problem.
We were at the second round of Time Attack and EDC (drift championship) this weekend just gone. Kevin Atkins was there in his Evo (won Time Attack Club last year) with his KSport all round. The KSports replaced the AP Racing brakes he ran on the front last year. He was so impressed with the performance of the brakes by the end of Sunday that he convinced the second placed TA runner from Sunday (Evo 400) to swap from his current Alcons to KSport all round.
Zen are also happy with their KSport set up. We all know Zen, they won Time Attack Pro this year and are now on KSports all round

That will tell you more about KSport vs AP than my opinion, which obviously is biased
The two 304mm (the AP is 304mm, not 308) kits use the exact same pad so you have the same rotor face coverage. The feedback we have had to date on the 304 kits has been excellent incuding from guys running on track. We havent actually started testing them ourselves as yet though.
will the 8pots fit? iv only got 19mm ish of clearance from the std 4 pot to the spoke,and a bit more from the disc to the spoke, do i just require 32m?

Im sure theyll be fine. if you are concerned then just fit one caliper with one bracket (you dont even need the rotor) without connecting the brake line and then try a wheel. As long as you havent run fluid throught he caliper and the kits is returned as new then youre welcome to a full refund for the price of the kit if theres fitting issues

Quick question for Bren, which courier do you use? As it's coming to my home I'm praying you don't use City Link cause their depot is miles away (No one will be there to accept the delivery).

Fair enough. For those that do want to be able to measure the runout, for less that £20 delivered you can get the necessary gauge and stand to measure this from here Chronos Dial Gauges. Not bad considering workshop labour charges these days.
