Thats it..

Well supposedly the turbo stalls but when you get back on the gas you doun't have to build up all the preasure in the IC again as it hasn't been dumped out.. Swings and round abouts really

No DV... tubo slows but preasure remains

DV.. Turbo keeps spinning fast but all preasur goes..

This is obviously whilst changing gear any longer and the turbo will spin down and all the preasure will escape!

to slow a turbo down it will take an awful lot of back pressure as the blades are spinning very very fast

Instead of blocking off the tubes with bungs, could you not just put the blanking plate underneath the dump valve? Leaving the DV in place, but blanked off.

I have a blanking plate in my posession, but no bungs. (Thanks easyscoob!)

BILYOkCO is that sound coming from the dump valve or the turbo stalling, as on my last impreza i had the same set up as that and it just gave the normal whosshhhhhhh sound,
