sorry im in agreement with chris on this one. the cars work has been carried out to a good standard, but the bonnet looks out of place as the rest of the car looks more modernised.

i personally would really change it asap if it were my car anyways.

As an option you can always get a steel facelift one opposed to the more expensive alloy one at a later date.

I think it looks ok,mines been like that for over a year now.

I'm not fussed at spending £300 ish on a facelift bonnet and then getting it sprayed etc

yes, my uber heavy uk classic has one

and because i dont cain it (not suggesting you do) the couple kg extra for a far better looking bonnet imho dont matter.

It is looking rather good. Is she running a different turbo? I see the front mount but havn't been keeping up with the progress.

Out of interest, what year Type r engine was it ?

If the looms were different, all you had to do was use your phase 1 inlet manifold

I was going to put a phase 2 engine in my car and was told by a well known tuner that all I needed to do was fit my phase 1 manifold
