Car is work in progress..so much left to do..going to be a sti 6 replica + hoping for 330bhp

im 23, bought the scoob back in dec 06' for £4k (my99 uk turbo)...

mods, erm let me have a think...

p1 alloys, but these were on the car already, had them refurbed though £200
p.c. mudflaps, £50
kyb adjustable gas shocks, £400
eibach lowering springs, £150
whiteline front/rear steel droplinks, £90
alpine mids on parcel shelf, £80
sony mp3/cd player £80, now replaced with jvc jobby, £90
forge recirc valve £100
scoobybits full 3" decat £450-500, centre/back now replaced with nur spec-r, £350
autobahn88 and samco silicone hoses under the bonnet, £55 and £75
uprated from pads, £80
uprated exedy clutch, £200ish
api recon. gearbox £900
soon to have black crystal headlights/sidelights/indicators (swap for current ones)
sti6 spoiler coming in next couple weeks, £130 (second hand)

the above doesnt include lambda sensors, idle control valves, maf sensors, and basic running costs. car ows me more than double the £4k i spent buying it... and i havent even got much extra power

ah well, c'est la vie

Car needs some cosmetic stuff: crystal pack, sti rear clusters, sti mid level wing etc. but is mechanically sound!

Looking at some of the specs in this thread makes me v jealous!

2nd scoob spent around £5000 so far but got a new turbo going on soon lol should then be around 330bhp then I`ll be happy with that

It was bog stock when i purchased it 2 years ago fella.

Since then, every part fitted has been done by myself appart from the mapping. Thats the job of Zak @ Mocom Racing and Simpsons who made my exhaust system.

cost so far 4.5k ish inc car

owned for 8mths, done 14k miles so far

Owned 4 scoobs over a period of 5 years, 3 classics and a bugeye... would take to long to list mods but with purchase price and cost of modding all 4 i think would stand me in about 50k
