I still haven't signed up to the live play yet, really want to get on line after about playing this for about 25 hours

So true of PS3 slaughter that has ensued since March, If you were now looking to buy the next Gen consol would you be buying the 360 ? no matter how many "great " titles the 360 has it is still a piece of TuppaWear that dies for fun, would you buy anything that had a 60% failure rate, if it were a car you wouldn't, the PS3 is in a different league for build quality and ability, I remember when I bought my first scoob in 98, there was a bit of cache owning one as they were fairly rare on the roads and were a little bit special, the PS3 feels like that, why buy a corsa when you can own a scoob , although that said the old scoob now has the rep the Corsa did 10 years ago lol.

I think come this time next year PS3 will have plenty of quality titles and the developers will be into their stride with regards to what they can produce and we will see a whole lot more than we are currently getting.

The funniest thing is this 360 vs PS3 snipping that goes on, especially in here it borders religious belief, or Evo vs Scoob, no doubt there's a couple of them around the corner ready to flame me over the TuppaWear, it's a games consol.

Each to their own guys, you never see a AMD vs Intel punch up do you

how do you change your ps3 tag (name)? played cod4 online yesterday i was sh*t i killed 10 people in 3 matches and i am on level42, i got medal of honour airbourne for xmas so been playing that alot, the button's are totaly different but back playing cod4 online

 

for those ppl who have got SNET as there clan tag i think it needs to be in capitals then it should put us all on same team at start of the game, i got airborne too and played it once, not thought much of it.

 

i put SNET in caps but not played it today, i thought airborne was sh*te at first but kept on playing it, does get better but not the same league as cod4. online is ok , very chilled out very boring at times as before not in the the same league as cod4

Shawn i accepted your invite about three or four times but each time it gave me a message saying that i couldnt join as it was full.

 

seemed a bit strange last night, everytime i got on a server i sent an invite but the game just ended or it filled up really fast, should invite to a party then just one of us looks for a game and everyone joins the same one.

 

So who got to level 55 and kept going, into prestige mode?

I just can't be done with multi-player on ANY game, never mind COD4. My whole experience seems to be:

1. Walk around corner
2. Confronted by the opposing player
3. Shot dead
4. Start again

All the while listening to some little 10 year old git laughing his head off at me

Am I missing something ? On average how many times are people getting killed in each game?

 

Dave i stayed on level 55 for a few days then thought F@@k it, moved onto prestige mode. Now back up to about level 49 on prestige mode although it was hard work starting with all the crap guns again.

 

In team death match - These days I kill something like 15-25, and die between 5-15 - I am usually in credit - Of course when I first started playing it was more like kill 5 and die 25.

But you get to know the maps, the weapons, the reactions, the most common routes, all sorts, and you start to develop pretty quickly.


I am now , basically, an unstoppable killing machine.

 

Also,. the patch has made joining games and setting up games about 50 million times faster*









*May be a slight exaggeration.

 

hmmm, that explains why I'm an unstoppable dying machine right now.

I just take it really badly when I'm killed. So when it happens every 5 minutes you can imagine the frustration

 

Stick with it, it gets easier. Although even now I may go into a game and get absolutely slaughtered!

I'm up to rank 51 now so will shortly have to make the decision to go elite or not!

 

i played this at j4ckos its an amazing game i was in awe of the graphics

 

Ah yes, but will you start again in prestige level 2?

This is just it for me. There is no hope in hell i'll go to prestige level 10, so why bother....
