We (ANPR) have close liason with the manager in charge of vehicle fleet and i know these are the only 2. Essex isn't that big and i know generally what vehicles are on fleet. If we had another Impreza I would know about it and any other likely to be purchased. Besides, BLACK would not be considered as a purchase option as it doesn't fit with the rest of the Traffic related fleet, ie BLUE.

really dont have a clue if its a anpr car or normal
traffic car tbh mate,
cant see the police wasting money like that
on a scooby for normal, ford duties
but this is essex, and was in basildon, and east tilbury...
any ways it was workin along side a volvo S80 "i think" may have been a t model
this was also in black,
gather they was both doing the shame piece of road
for speeders on the night.
if i get any more sightins il let you know
