Williams and BMW's could be excluded for Fuel Irregularities

Would place Hamilton 4th and WORLD CHAMPION

If we can lose the RWC on Video evidence we can certainly win the F1WC with the assistance of the Stewards

BBC News quote...

Inquiry casts doubt on F1 title
Kimi Raikkonen's world title has been thrown into doubt following an inquiry into the cars of BMW Sauber and Williams at the Brazilian Grand Prix.
Race stewards are investigating alleged irregularites with the cars' fuel.

Williams's Nico Rosberg was fourth in the race, followed by BMW Sauber's Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld.

If they were disqualified, McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton would be promoted to fourth, giving him enough points to displace Raikkonen as world champion.

The BMW Sauber and Williams teams are being investigated by Brazilian Grand Prix stewards over possible technical irregularities on their cars at the end of Sunday’s Interlagos race. The enquiries are believed to relate to fuel temperatures.

Nico Rosberg finished fourth for Williams, with Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld fifth and sixth respectively for BMW Sauber. If they were to be disqualified, it would move McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton up from seventh to fourth, making him world champion, rather than Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen.

Raikkonen won the race from team mate Felipe Massa, with McLaren’s Fernando Alonso third.

Theres no way they will overturn the decision.

They may dock points from Williams, but the FIA will stand by its decision to award the Championship to Kimi

I fear Ed is bang on with this comment. If they overturn the decision they will look like prats.

The enquiries relate to fuel temperature, which under Formula One racing’s technical regulations are not allowed to fall more than 10 degrees Celsius below ambient air temperature at any time. Williams and BMW Sauber are understood to have exceeded this range.

Default Breaking News - Mclaren appeal stewards decision!

"Mclaren are appealing the stewards decision on the grounds that it does not understand how williams and bmw can be found to have broken the rules and not be punished"

Seem to remember ferrari coming out with almost exactly the same statement earlier in the year.

That said, winning on a technicality is a very soft way to win. Mclaren have only themselves to blame, 2 races to go 12 points clear, sorry, but they blew it!
